We are a non-profit charitable organization that nurtures regional food economies by:

• Certifying farmers and processors for local sustainable food production

• Linking farmers and processors with local purchasers, especially institutional purchasers • Building supply chain links

• Doing public outreach and education

• Working with local organizations to introduce the model to other regions of Canada
