What is the Bridge Inspection Workshop? This two and a half-day workshop will focus on routine and detailed bridge/culvert/retaining wall inspection processes as well as management issues surrounding structures and how they affect lifespan and maintenance. Additionally, representatives from the Forest Practices Board will discuss forest road bridges, the auditing process and how your bridges can pass inspection.
Is this workshop for me?This workshop is available for anyone to attend, but will be especially beneficial for road and bridge engineers, foresters and forest technicians, road maintenance workers, municipal and provincial inspectors, as well as public works managers and supervisors.

Instructor Bio
Daniel R. Estey, P.Eng., is currently the Manager of Bridge Design and Construction for ISL in BC. Dan was president and senior design engineer for D.R. Estey Engineering Ltd. In Prince George for more than 18 years and has accumulated more than 27 years of experience in the design and planning of bridges, heavy civil structures, bridge structures, precast structures, structural inspections, assessments and evaluations, load capacity evaluations, seismic design, lifecycle cost analysis, project cost estimates, project management, tender services, contract administration, functional studies, design for rehabilitation programs, technical value engineering and quality control on over 3000 structural related projects in British Columbia and Alberta. As senior design engineer, Dan has demonstrated his ability to handle both administration and technical aspects of complex engineering projects.
