Instructor Bio

Daniel R. Estey, P.Eng., is currently the Manager of Bridge Design and Construction for ISL in BC. Dan was president and senior design engineer for D.R. Estey Engineering Ltd. In Prince George for more than 18 years and has accumulated more than 27 years of experience in the design and planning of bridges, heavy civil structures, bridge structures, precast structures, structural inspections, assessments and evaluations, load capacity evaluations, seismic design, lifecycle cost analysis, project cost estimates, project management, tender services, contract administration, functional studies, design for rehabilitation programs, technical value engineering and quality control on over 3000 structural related projects in British Columbia and Alberta. As senior design engineer, Dan has demonstrated his ability to handle both administration and technical aspects of complex engineering projects.
