The composition of the single and album cover have some similarities such as the way the ‘people’ in the image have been repeated but at a different angle.

The screenshot from the video corresponds to the way the artist is picture on the album cover.

The artist is screaming in the video at this point which is what he is portrayed to be doing on the album cover.

The similarities between colour.

Throughout the music video the theme of the colours are red, black and white which is also the theme of the album cover.

The similarity between the camera shots.

The way the have rotated the camera in the video also links to the image on the album cover as the main person portrayed is shot at all different angles.

The artist brand image.• Kasabian’s music is classed as alternative rock/indie rock.

• The colours the mostly use are monotone colours which represents the ‘rock’ theme. These colours are contrasting so it make the image interesting.

• There video’s are usually watching them playing their instruments and singing, this also suggest which genre the band is class as.

• The costumes they were are casual, dark coloured clothing, this suggest they class themselves as powerful and classy. The colour black has a strong statement.

Artist brand image continued.• I think Kasabian has chosen this image as it does stand out from

most other band as a lot of other artist use colour and fancy effects to attract their audience.

• I think Kasabian have gone for the simple look so they can add new thing each time a product is realised and they products will be recognisable.

I think it is important for a band to have a brand image as they need to stand out from other artist and be recognisable.

This image is from one of the songs in the album, it is the only other one that has been released as a single.

The colours they have used are the same as in the video switchblade smiles. This is a feature kept across most of the Kasabian products.
