2 n DESTINATION PLANNING GUIDE | BoulderColoradoUSA.com DESTINATION PLANNING GUIDE | BoulderColoradoUSA.com n 3
TransportationEven though Boulder is surrounded by
wilderness, mountains and natural beauty, the
town is just 30 minutes from Denver and 45
minutes from Denver International Airport.
And the drive is a scenic one! Your group’s first
impression of Boulder may well be the scenic
overlook from the Boulder Turnpike from
Denver, a memorable panorama, to be sure.
Once in town, Boulder’s compact downtown,
reliable transportation providers and a great
public transportation system also keep logistics
simple. In fact, if you’re hosting a meeting or
event in downtown Boulder, your transportation
needs may be minimal — it’s all walkable and
worth exploring on foot. Bike shop rentals and
our public rent-by-the-hour B-Cycle stations also
allow attendees to get around as the locals do.
(Boulder is ranked third in Bicycle Magazine’s
America’s Best Bike Cities.)
For times when you do need a bit of help
with transportation, we’ll point you to
the right pros who know ins and outs of
navigating Boulder’s roadways and parking.
Don’t hesitate to ask, and we’ll connect
you with all the transportation resources
you need. Contact us at 303.938.2089 or
[email protected] for free

Unique Meeting VenuesBoulder’s venues are a natural extension of
the city’s celebrated creative side — one that
easily translates to stunning, original spaces
with flexibility to spare.
Choose from spectacular historic venues
at the wildflower-carpeted doorstep of
the Rocky Mountains, vibrant properties
that marry Boulder’s eco-conscious values
with great meeting amenities, or high-end
downtown sites with Boulder’s trademark
Flatirons views.
One of the benefits of having a meeting
or event in Boulder is that the city boasts
meeting hotels and venues on par with those
in larger cities, yet without many of the
challenges that face big-city events. Boulder
has a close-knit, friendly feel and a proximity
to nature that attendees love. The city’s
venues often reflect that unique character
— without sacrificing any of the high-end
conveniences and functionality you expect.
