Section NO. 2 M&E INSTALLATIONS
GENERAL NOTES
A The Contractor shall refer to the M&E Specification
Documents and all relevant drawings for the full extent
of works and pricing of this Schedule.
Note
B The Contractor must refer to the Fit-Out Guide for any
Landlord's Approved/ Nominated Contractors for
carrying out below works, where appropriate. The
Contractor shall direct contract with these Landlord
Contractors as his own sub-contractors and fully
responsible for their works under this Contract. The
Contractor shall include and price all these works under
this Contract.
Note
C All other M&E sub-contractors shall be subject to thefinal approval by the Project Manager prior to
commencement of the Works.
Note
D Total sum build up for each individual system shall be
brought forward from Part 1 of Schedules under
Appendice section of the M&E Specification. The
Contractor shall also fill in Part 2 - Sectional Costs and
Part 3 - Schedule of Unit Rates.
Note
E The Contractor is required to complete the Schedule of
Delivery Period and Proposed Manufacturers for Major
Equipment/ Materials as attached in Part 4 of Schedules
under Appendice section of the M&E Specification.

F Please note that Supply ONLY of all light fixtures toCeiling and BOH/ Stock/ Office areas shall be priced

respectively.
Note
B Reference shall be made to the M&E Specification Documents and all
relevant drawings for the specification of light fixtures and its
requirement.
Note
C The Contractor shall refer to the Approved Quotation given by the
Employer and inserted under Specification Section for pricing the
supply of specified light fixtures. All quantities in the quotation are for
reference ONLY and it is the sole responsibility for the Contractor to
check and verify the quantities according to the drawings and
specification requirements in the tender.
Note
The Contractor is deemed to include due allowance in the Contract
Sum for all the exclusion items & qualification offered in these
quotations by respective nominated suppliers. No adjustment to the
Contract Sum is allowed resulting from his ignorance of this
requirement.
Note
D When pricing the supply of light fixtures, the "supply rates" shall,
unless otherwise excluded in the Approved Quotation, include cost of
packing, carriage and delivery to Site, contractor's warehouse or
factory, where further production is required. The Contractor shall
allow all other costs for installation under Schedule No. 3, 4, 5 & 6
respectively.
