Thank you for joining us at the 8th annual Long Beach Comic
Con! For those of you who have attended the show in the past,
you’ll notice LOTS of awesome changes. Let’s see - an even
bigger exhibit hall filled with exhibitors ranging from comic book
publishers, comic and toy dealers, ENORMOUS artist alley, cosplay
corner, kids area, gaming area, laser tag, guest signing area and more.
We’re very proud of the guest list, which blends together some
of the hottest names in industries such as animation, video games,
comics, television and movies. We’re grateful for their support and
hope you spend a few minutes with each and every one of them over
the weekend. We’ve been asked about guests who appear on the list
but who don’t have a “home base” on the exhibit floor - there are times
when a guest can only participate in a signing or a panel, so we can’t
assign them a table. Please check the programming schedule to see if
your favorite creators are in that position so you don’t miss them.
Off the exhibit floor but every bit as exciting is our packed
programming area (known as the Seaside meeting rooms). There
you’ll find a huge range of sessions that includes our popular
#MakeComics program, the GeekFest Film Festival, Saturday Evening
Costume Contest with prizes awarded in several categories, and lots
of sessions for every interest level (including a kids-only track!).
We’re also excited that Long Beach Comic Con will be announcing
a new Comic Creators Conference (C3) that will be held in conjunction
with our spring show. Please mark your calendar for the Long Beach
Comic Expo on February 18 & 19 in 2017 as you won’t want to miss
it, and note our NEW DATE for 2017’s Long Beach Comic Con,
september 2-3!
Enjoy the Show,
