AIESEC Story

!

Ana, 20 Skopje, Macedonia

“I found out about AIESEC and its opportunities on the internet, I took an internship in Galati, Romania working in a project related to marketing. I did not have any marketing skills before that, and this is another proof that going for an internship is helpful on so many levels. I got the chance to visit the most meaningful places in Romania, with the help of the volunteers from AIESEC and I also met volunteers from all around the world: USA, Canada, Germany, Estonia, Taiwan, Albania, Greece etc. It was a wonderful experience meeting those people, and now if I want to go to one of those countries I know that I will have a place to stay.

Volunteering not only gives one a chance to gain experience and with that find a job more easily, but it also expands one’s social life, changes one’s perception of things, in other words – it changes lives.”
