July 9, 2006 Board Minutes

1. Entrance/Park Maintenance Contract. The Board received several bids andawarded the contract to Stephen ODonnell, a La Reata resident. Mr. ODonnell

submitted the lowest and best bid. He has more than twenty years experience as a

landscape contractor.

2. Nature Trail/Pond Repair Contract. Steve Kich d/b/a Great Scapes, Inc. submitted

a cost estimate to repair the pond and to install vehicle barriers on the nature trailentrances. He will meet with the Board to discuss choices the Board has with this

work.

3. Deolloz Delinquent Account. Board attorney, Ernie Bogart, is informed about thecorrect amount owed La Reata. The Board will receive the full amount of the

balance owed as part of the sale of the property.

4. Delinquent Account Legal Work. The Board will retain Kevin Cochran to dofuture lien filing/collection work. It is board policy to file liens on delinquent

accounts when the property owner fails to respond to Board notices.

5. CCR Revision Committee. The Board has communicated with Donna Payne,

chair of the committee, about the time line for presentation to the owners of the

proposed revisions at the October business meeting and revisions of interest to theBoard.
