Subject: La Reata Board Meeting Minutes

1. Call To Order:The meeting was called to order at 2:05 PM. Present were Nick Collier, C.M.Nutt, David Bell, and Joy Dees.

2. Old Business:a. March 2008 Minutes. The minutes for March 2008 were approved.b. 2008 Maintenance Fee Status. Fees for 152 lots have been paid to date.

Dunning letters will be mailed for all fees due that are not received by March31, 2008.

c. Budget Review.d. Spring Meeting Preparation. Final preparations were made for the Spring

Meeting on Saturday, April 12, 2008. Preparations included, finalization of

the meeting agenda, solicitation of volunteers for understaffed committees(Communications, Welcome, Recreation, and CCR/Bylaws committees),

guest speakers, question and answer period, and meal catering,

3. New Business:a. Collection of Delinquent Maintenance Fees. The board defined the

procedures to be used for the collection of delinquent fees, including the

notification schedule for delinquent accounts, assessment of late fees(interest), cost and collection of legal fees. The BOD will pursue the

legality/possibility/practicality of filing liens without the assistance of the

attorney.

b. Delinquent accounts. All accounts delinquent for more than 2 years werereviewed and discussed. Final collection effort will be made before liens are

filed (if not filed already).

c. 911 Signs. The BOD is in agreement that property owners will be allowed todisplay a standardized reflective street number sign in addition to the street

sign permitted by the CCRs. These reflective signs are available from Bastrop

County for a nominal fee and are encouraged for use near the propertyentrance to make the location easier to locate by emergency vehicles. Theinformation on these signs and their availability will be posted on the POA

website and in the next POA newsletter.

d. Flag Reorder. The replacement flags for the La Reata Ranch entrance will beof polyester material instead of cotton which allow for longer time span beforereplacement it necessary.

4. Adjournment:The meeting was adjourned at 4:05 PM. The next meeting will be at David Bellsresidence at 3:00 PM, May 11, 2008.
