Water Resources Technical Advisory Group

Loudoun County is growing. One challenge growth and development brings is to ensure a fresh, clean, abundant supply of water today and tomorrow, both for ourselves and those who live downstream from us. I have had the opportunity to live and work around the world, and have seen first-hand the problems that arise when water resources are taken for granted for too long. I have also witnessed the results when watershed planning is conducted, and the results used to maintain or improve conditions for current and future generations. I offer to the WRTAG a breadth of water resources experience, which are outlined in my resume and in the Special Qualifications section below. However, perhaps my most important attribute is that I have moved my family to Loudoun County because of the quality of life. I love living here, my family loves it here, and through forethought, planning and hard work we can ensure Loudoun thrives both economically and environmentally.

Please see CV (attached).

I have served in a variety of volunteer capacities during my adult life, including conducting stream benthos monitoring in Accotink Creek (Springfield, VA), Boy Scouts of America (Springfield, VA and Apex, NC), Spanish interpreter at a homeless shelter (Fort Collins, CO), and serving as adult sponsor on miscellaneous elementary, middle and high school field trips.
