Blue Tide is a new apparel brand that represents style and quality with attention to detail.
Born in 2015 and residing on the South West Coast of England in the Atlantic Seas of North Devon, Blue Tide works on the basis of creativity and responsibility, fused with a sunny coastal attitude. Effortless style, authenticity and coastal living are at the heart of the brand’s philosophy. These positive values shine through at every level, from the laid-back styling to the made-to-last quality.
Blue Tide aspires to be the leading casual wear brand with an outstanding price-value proposition: Capturing market trends and newness in colour, quality fabrics and shapes, and expressing them in the effortless, relaxed andcomfortable Blue Tide mentality. For every garment, Blue Tide pays maximum attention to fabric selection, fitting and perfect quality. We aim to really push the boundaries when it comes to quality and bridging the gap between style and the outdoors.
A big part of the ethos for Blue Tide is being in or around the coast, it’s at the heart of what we do along with themusic that inspires us, the places we see and experience as well as the people we meet along the way.

pricing:
On the opposite page you will see an order form. This shows Blue Tide RRP’s, not trade pricing! Our RRP’s are very attractive to the end user, whilst offering a price point product with premium quality, cut and durability. Blue Tide offers a price point product to independent casual-wear retailers which does not currently exist. Standard 2.4' ratio retailer mark-up applies, e.g. Graphic Tee - £17.99 / 2.4 = £7.50.
shipping dates:
Blue Tide is exclusively a pre-booked seasonal brand. We cannot guarantee any additional stock availability ‘in-season’. Blue Tide orders will be manufactured by our partner factories from September - December and will arrive with us in Devon early in January. We then collate our orders, and our stock, and we pick, pack and ship all orders together. This process helps us to minimise costs, and maintain the value for money pricing that your customers will enjoy, therefore these shipping dates are not flexible. The shipping dates to your stores will be 13th - 28th February 2017.
minimum seasonal order:
At Blue Tide we will not sell, without permission, to another retailer in your locality. This enables us to hand pick the right retailer for the brand and work in partnership with that retailer to build the Blue Tide brand locally. In exchange for this partnership approach, we ask that Spring/Summer orders have a minimum net value of £2000 & Autumn/Winter orders a minimum of £1500. This ensures that the retailer is able to offer a cross section of product, without overburdening you with stock at the beginning of the season.
in-season stock:
We only anticipate carrying a small quantity of in season stock, so additional deliveries after your February shipment cannot be guaranteed. Due to the excellent price points on offer, we anticipate a strong sell through, and advise you to buy confidently on key lines, however, orders with no minimum value will be accepted in-season and stock levels will be advised at the time. We do not offer stock-cleanse of change-around stock services with the Blue Tide brand.
payment terms:
Blue Tide Trading Ltd offer all Blue Tide account holders 60 days’ credit. Additionally, retailers placing orders inexcess of £4000 net will be offered a ‘payment plan’ of 25% of the balance paid monthly, beginning at 30 days, to assist with cash-flow.
carriage:
All orders in excess of £300 net are shipped carriage paid.
point of sale material:
We offer a range of in store POS material, including printed cubes, timber signage, light boxes and Blue Tide entrance mats. POS is offered free of charge, and the level of support we can offer depends on the store space that you as the retailer can devote to our brand, we look forward to visiting your store and discussing this with you, please contact your representative for details.
