La parroquia te invita a ser miembro de nuestra iglesia. La registración es necesaria para recibir los Sacramentos: Bautismo,Confirmación, Matrimonio y funeral.

Adviento y Nuestra Parroquia

“Hoy Domingo damos inicio al Adviento, que significa la venida, empo de preparación y son las cuatro semanas anteriores a la Navidad. Como signo tenemos la corona de Adviento, cada semana iremos encendiendo una vela como símbolo en nuestro i nerario hacia el nacimiento de nuestro Salvador.

La liturgia de la Palabra nos pone en sintonía de espera, de ver esa promesa del Salvador; la primera lectura nos dice el oráculo del Señor que va a cumplir la promesa que hizo a su pueblo. Dios es fiel y no deja de hacer con nosotros sus maravillas. A su empo Dios cumplirá lo que te prome ó, pues Dios nunca llega tarde. Su em-po es perfecto. Este empo de Adviento es un momento propicio para renovar nuestra esperanza en la promesa de Dios. El mundo nos ven-de muchos sueños e ilusiones, nos presenta muchos atrac vos, pero son vanas ilusiones y falsas prome-sas. Demos gracias que Dios no fun-ciona con la lógica demagógica de las promesas del hombre.

En la segunda lectura, el apóstol va animando la comunidad para que permanezcan fieles en el amor mutuo. Para que se mantengan fuertes en la fe, y así cuando venga nuestro Señor, los encuentre irreprensibles. Esta exhortación de pablo es también para nosotros. Como cris anos vivimos momentos fuertes y hay dobleces y vacilación. Es empo de reafirmarnos en la fe. Se hace necesario un movimiento interior para que podamos ser par cipes de la liberación, como nos dice el Evangelio. Nos advierte de las cosas que nos pueden distraer: los vicios, la bebida, y los agobios de la vida. El Evangelio nos invita a estar alertas, preparados, porque no sabemos cómo ni cuándo el Señor vendrá; es por esto que debemos estar atentos a las señales que El mismo nos va dando a cada instante. Ojalá que siempre podamos estar en atención con la mirada fija en nuestro Dios y Señor.”

Que todas las ac vidades de la Iglesia nos sean ayuda para la vida espiritual, especialmente la solemnidad de la Virgen de la Inmaculada Concepción y de la Virgen de Guadalupe nos deben llevar a una buena confesión sacramental del Adviento.

The world sells us many dreams and illusions, it presents us with many a rac ons, but they are vain illusions and false promises. Let's give thanks that God does not work with the demagogic logic of man's promises. In the second reading, the apostle

encourages the community to remain faithful in mutual love. That they may remain strong in faith, and so when our Lord comes, find them blameless. This exhorta on of Paul is also for us. As Chris ans we live strong moments and there are folds and hesita on. It is me to reaffirm ourselves in the faith. An inner movement is necessary so that we can be partakers of libera on, as the Gospel tells us. It warns us of the things that can distract us: the vices, the drink, and the burdens of life. The Gospel invites us to be alert, ready, because we do not know how or when the Lord will come; that is why we must be a en ve to the signs that He himself is giving us at every moment. Hopefully we can always be a en ve with our eyes fixed on our God and Lord." May all the ac vi es of the Church help us for the spiritual life, especially the solemnity of the Virgin of the Immaculate Concep on and of the Virgin of Guadalupe should lead us to a good sacramental confession of Advent. ADVENT

Advent is a season observed in the Catholic Church as a time of waiting and preparation for the celebration of the birth of Jesus on Christmas day. The word Advent is a Latin word meaning “coming”. The Advent wreath is made of a circle of evergreen branches laid flat to symbolize eternal life. Four candles (three purple and one pink) stand in the circle and each one represent Hope, Love, Joy, and Peace. FIRST CANDLE: The Candle of Hope or the Prophecy Candle “The root of Jesse will appear, he who raises up to rule the nations, and in him the nations will put their hope. May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in your faith, so that in the power of the holy Spirit you may be rich in hope.” Romans 15: 12-13 This is also a significant time to pray to our Blessed Mother Mary. She is a model of how we should be living our Advent. Her “Yes” to the Archangel Gabriel launched the preparation for the birth of Jesus the Messiah. Let us prepare our hearts for Jesus’ coming as Mary did that first Christmas.

Born to the nobility of the Basque region. Studied and taught Philosophy at the University of Paris, and planned a career as a professor. Friend of Saint Ignatius of Loyola who convinced him to use his talents to spread the Gospel. One of the founding Jesuits, and the first Jesuit missionary. Priest. In Goa, India, while waiting to take ship, he preached in the street, worked with the sick, and taught children their catechism. He would walk through the streets ringing a bell to call the children to their studies. Said to have converted the entire city. Tremendously successful missionary for ten years in India, the East Indies, and Japan, baptizing more than 40,000 converts.
