“I take time to really discuss with my clients their events, their demands and expectations,” he explained.

“On the event itself, I survey the crowd and see the approaches and punchlines I can use. And then I transform into a ball of energy,” he added.

It also helps that Tiongson can sing and dance well, talents he has honed through years of performing. These give him an edge over others.

“It’s elating every time a client appreciates the effort I put into the event,” Tiongson confessed. “In fact, my clients are the ones who refer me to their friends now, filling up my social calendar every week.”

And as easy as that, the side job pays the bills.

“It may seem easy, but a lot of work goes into it. The secret is to embrace every event like it’s your own. That will help you make every hosting gig a special one,” said Tiongson.

Paolo’s musical journey was considered to be accidental. It seemed that he was at the exact place

and time when people were looking for something fresh in the music scene. Before doing anything

that has to do with music, he traveled the world, worked odd jobs and even thought that he would

end up working in the corporate jungle for the rest of his existence.

However, the love for music has been there at a very young age. He listened to the works of The

Beatles, James Taylor , America and Bread. He taught himself to play the guitar and fell in love with

it. Eventually, he ended up playing for the community church choir, small gatherings and even for

birthdays and weddings.

In 2003, while playing for a wedding, he was approached by a very popular radio DJ named Joe

D’Mango. He offered him a 30-minute slot at his radio station to do live covers of popular songs. It

became an instant hit and paved the way to do bigger venues, international tours and numerous

albums. He was popularly known as “mister acoustic” because of his musical style and has already

sold platinum and gold albums, worked with the best musicians in the Philippines and even opened

for international acts such as Jason Mraz and Duncan Sheik.

Tied with the passion for music and the arts, they came together to form THE ACTSEVEN BAND. The group performs a variety of music genres from RnB to Pop, Ballad, Rock Music Alternative, Reggae, OPM and so much more. With regular performances at venues such as Manila Pavilion Casino to as far as Fiesta Casino Poro point La Union, Fiesta Casino Rizal, Kizmet Bar and to being a part of San Miguel Beer Events, the band has gained so much expertise in performing in front of various audiences.

Hanika is a soulternative Pinoy rock band formed with the musical fusion of Froilan Canlas (vocals), Edmer Peralta (guitar), Tim Dioko (drums), Ian Tan (bass) and Chris Valera (keyboards). Known for their catchy and wide range of tunes that vary from mellow ballads to uptempo numbers.

Formed in August 2010, Hanika, the name itself, has a certain ring to it. The uniqueness of the name also coincides with their music. Original. New. Fresh. And something you will always put on repeat on your iPod.

San Juan Strings was established by brothers Moises

and Jose in a mission to continue the legacy of their

father, the late Joselito San Juan Sr.--the man behind

LSJ Strings and Impressarios Strings (Circa 70).

From a family of professional musicians in the last five

decades, the San Juan’s have been performing in

prestigious hotels and cruise ships like the Makati

Shangri-la, Century Park Hotel, Manila Hotel, the

former Westin Philippine Plaza and Princess Cruises to

name a few.

The group first launched in Manila hotel Tap room & Intercontinental hotel manila 1993 under the name “Friends in music” in 1995 they changed their name to “Rhythm & Voices” and re-launched the group in Manila Diamond hotel’s Sky lounge & Ramada Hotel’s Vogue Lounge lobby.

Local shows include performances at Grand Boulevard, Sofitel Hotel’s Becks bar, The Makati Shangri-la, Hyatt Casino Lounge, Podium Mall and Casino Filipino.,

A brass quintet is a five-piece musical ensemble

composed of brass instruments. The most

common instrumentation is two trumpets, one

horn, one trombone and one tuba.

Empire Brass is a group composed of some of the

best musicians from the UP Jazz Ensemble, The

UST Symphony and the multi-awarded Banda 31

of Bulacan.

Although relatively young, these optimistic and

brilliant musicians are definitely experts in

producing a great and sound and in executing a

thrilling performance that will captivate their

audience.

Empire Brass Quintet

The Tres Rositas is a dynamic trio of classically trained sopranos from the UP College of Music specializing in Kundiman singing arranged for three voices. Charley Magalit, Janine Santos and Roxy Aldiosa are protégés of the Tres Rosas of the Mabuhay singers, aiming to revive the folk tradition of Filipino singing.

The group, in their performance, hopes to bridge traditional music to the present generation by covering old and contemporary compositions and still being consistent to the Kundiman form of performance bringing back the memory of serenading with a solemn guitar outside a woman's window.

Tres Rositas has performed in Paco Park for “Paco Park presents” and other events for different audiences. They are regulars in the radio program “Harana ngPuso”.

These girls are here to bring all the glitz and glamour of a Las Vegas show, taking you on a magical journey from the soul classics of the motown era with songs such as Respect and Proud Mary, the dance hits of the 70s and 80s all the way to the today’s this century’s current divas like Mariah Carey, Lady Gaga, Katie Perry and much much more.

Dannie Farmer, aka, DannieBoi, is an all around entertainer. Growing up in the Bay Area, California helped mold him into what he is today tude to his ecclectic mix of friends and family from different cultures. His mother is FIlipino, his biological father was Irish-American, and his stepfather is African-American. All of these influences made Dannie a very open-minded person. This is what triggered his interest in trying everything he could. Acting, singing, rapping, and writing became a part of him. Now in the Philippines, Dannie has had some success in the entertainment industry.

He has appeared in movies, tv shows, cames in music videos, tv commercials, modeling ads, magazines, etc. Not to mention he has won awards for his music, and has released three successful music videos and working on a 2nd album.
