1 WARHAMMER 40,000 CODEX: BLACK TEMPLARS Official Update for 6th Edition, Version 1.1 Although we strive to ensure that our codexes are perfect, sometimes mistakes do creep in. In addition, we occasionally print new versions of our rules which require amendments to be made in older versions of our army books. When such issues arise, we feel that it is important to deal with them as promptly as we can, and we therefore produce regular updates for all of our army books. When changes are made, the version number will be updated, and any changes from the previous version will be highlighted in Magenta. Where a version number has a letter, e.g. 1.1a, this means it has had a local update, only in that language, to clarify a translation issue or other minor correction. Each update is split into three sections: Errata, Amendments, and ‘Frequently Asked Questions’. The Errata corrects any mistakes in the codex, while the Amendments bring the codex up to date with the latest version of the rules. The Frequently Asked Questions (or ‘FAQ’) section answers commonly asked questions about the rules. Although you can mark corrections directly in your codex, this is by no means necessary – just keep a copy of the update with your codex. ERRATA Page 22 – Drop Pod Assault. Replace this entry with the following rules: Drop Pod Assault: Drop Pods must enter play using the Deep Strike rules. At the beginning of your first turn, choose half of your Drop Pods (rounding up) to make a ‘Drop Pod Assault’. Units making a Drop Pod Assault arrive on their controlling player’s first turn. The arrival of the remaining Drop Pods is rolled for as normal. A unit that Deep Strikes via Drop Pod cannot charge in the turn it arrives. Immobile: A Drop Pod cannot move once it has entered the battle, and counts in all respects as a vehicle that has suffered an Immobilised damage result that cannot be repaired in any way. Inertial Guidance System: Should a Drop Pod scatter on top of impassable terrain or another model (friend or foe) then reduce the scatter distance by the minimum required in order to avoid the obstacle. Note that if a Drop Pod scatters off the edge of the board then they will suffer a Deep Strike Mishap as per the Warhammer 40,000 rulebook.” Page 24 – Uphold the Honour of The Emperor. Although we strive to ensure that our codexes are perfect,sometimes mistakes do creep in. In addition, we occasionallyprint new versions of our rules which require amendments to bemade in older versions of our army books. When such issuesarise, we feel that it is important to deal with them as promptlyas we can, and we therefore produce regular updates for all ofour army books. When changes are made, the version numberwill be updated, and any changes from the previous version willbe highlighted in Magenta. Each update is split into three sections: Errata, Amendments,and ‘Frequently Asked Questions’. ERRATAPage 22 – Drop Pod Assault.Replace this entry with the following rules:

“Drop Pod Assault: Drop Pods must enter play using the DeepStrike rules. At the beginning of your first turn, choose half ofyour Drop Pods (rounding up) to make a ‘Drop Pod Assault’.Units making a Drop Pod Assault arrive on their controllingplayer’s first turn.
