Celebrating its 10-Year Anniversary as a band, Celtic-American rootsmusic “super group”, RUNA, continues to push the boundaries of Irishfolk music into the Americana and roots music formats. Interweavingthe haunting melodies and exuberant tunes of Ireland and Scotland withthe lush harmonies and intoxicating rhythms of jazz, bluegrass,flamenco and blues, they offer a thrilling and redefining take ontraditional music.

The group has been honored internationally, winning Top Group and Top

Traditional Group in the Irish Music Awards and three IndependentMusic Awards including Best LIVE Album, Best World/Traditional Songand Best Bluegrass Song.

RUNA consists of vocalist and step-dancer, Shannon Lambert-Ryan of

Philadelphia, Dublin-born guitarist, Fionán de Barra, Cheryl Prashker ofCanada on percussion, two-time All-Ireland fiddle champion JakeJames of New York on the fiddle, and Caleb Edwards of Nashville onmandolin and vocals.

RUNA recently released their sixth album, TEN: The Errant Night. This

album reflects and commemorates the wonderfully joyful journey ofbeing together as a band for 10 years.
