his is the Webb Center’s 20th Anniversary Season. Our history is one of community. The

story we tell is of philanthropy from benefactors and patrons like you. This performing arts center was built by individuals who thrive on the meaningful artistic experiences of live performances.

The Webb Center’s donors and funding partners continue to uphold their support for this organization. With their benevolence, they have taken us on this journey. They have even helped us navigate the uncertainty of a pandemic. We are humbled by the generosity that laid the foundation of this organization and the gifts that have sustained our work for the past 20 years.

I am so proud that the Webb Center provides a platform for equity, inclusion, diversity and access while offering our community the opportunity to experience exceptional national and international artists. Our “Made in Wickenburg” artist residency program is renowned the world over for the unparalleled time provided to performing artists for the creation of new work. Every June this organization completely changes gears and produces one of the finest summer camps for young people in the country.

Over the years, we have had the privilege to work with a breadth of volunteers that make it possible to open our doors for every event.

The many individuals that have served on our board of directors have led the way to our success and our talented staff have brought the arts to life, year over year.

We believe that a vibrant arts industry builds deep cultural roots and is the foundation for a society well versed in creativity and innovation. We look forward to welcoming every one of you back to the Webb Center for in-person performances that foster laughter, love, hope and the strength of community.

Warm regards to you all and thank you for your support!

7:30 PM

Tickets start at $30

The National Geographic Live series first appeared at the Webb Center November 10, 2011Rae Wynn-Grant is dedicated to wildlife ecology research. During a trip to Kenya, she studied East African lions and observed that problematic interactions threatened conservation efforts. Now, Dr. Wynn-Grant is finding similar patterns for North American black and grizzly bears.

As a scientist with the National Geographic Society’s Last Wild Places Initiative, Dr. Wynn-Grant works to protect and restore iconic wildlife populations—grizzly bears, bison, pronghorn, cougars, and more. But there’s an obstacle: roads, fences, and ranches crisscross the habitat of these wide-ranging animals. Dr. Wynn-Grant studies the movements and behaviors of the bears in an effort to find ways to improve the relationship between local communities and the powerful wildlife that surround them.

Join this committed carnivore ecologist for a fascinating look inside the secret lives of bears and a report from the front lines of the mission to help humans and carnivores coexist peacefully. natgeolive.com raewynngrant.com

First appeared at the Webb Center January 4, 2014During a 21-year career with The Statler Brothers, Jimmy Fortune wrote three of the band’s No. 1 hits, “Elizabeth,” “My Only Love” and “Too Much On My Heart.” Jimmy and The Statler Brothers were inducted into the Gospel Music Association Hall of Fame in October 2007 and the Country Music Association Hall of Fame in June 2008. When The Statler Brothers retired, Jimmy seized the opportunity to launch a solo career to share new music with his fans.

The singer-songwriter now performs an acoustic show with his band blending Statler classics, gospel and original country songs. Showcasing his recognizable tenor voice, Fortune’s latest release God & Country is his eighth solo album. jimmyfortune.com

First appeared at the Webb Center January 27, 2016Pink Martini’s 12-piece “little orchestra” brilliantly combines elements of classical, jazz, world music and timeless pop into a multi-lingual repertoire. Effortlessly transitioning from a samba parade in Rio to a 1930s French cabaret, the Portland, Oregon based band draws inspiration from music found all over the world. Co-writer of many of Pink Martini’s most beloved songs, vocalist China Forbes has mesmerized audiences since 1995 with her glamorous stage presence and dazzling voice. pinkmartini.com

The piece premiered in 2013 at New York City’s St. Mark’s Church and continues to expand the audience of tap dance, an original American art form. Join Dorrance Dance as they explore new possibilities of the relationship between sound and movement, and create a unique and breathtaking meeting of past traditions with contemporary dance techniques. dorrancedance.com

“Ms. Dorrance makes full use of tone, timbre, volume, tempo and, of course, rhythm, constructing patterns that lock together thrillingly.” ~ Brian Seibert, The New York Times
