FAMILY SUMMER BREAK 

 

 DAY ONE 

3:00 PM Arrive at Big Cedar Lodge and check-in to your accommodation. 

Meet a member of our team and discover all of the amenities America’s premier 

wilderness resort has to offer! 

● Grab the Kids Adventure Passport for a guided adventure from Guest 

services  

● Check-out the offerings at Fun Mountain  

● Discover Bent Hook Marina and check-out our options for complimentary 

fun on the lake including paddle boat and canoe reservations.  

● Explore our brand new 2020 Tracker fleet of leisure and fishing boat 

rentals and confirm your reservation details for the following day 

4:00 PM Settle into your accommodation and then head to our Big Bass Mini Golf course 

for a late afternoon round of putt-putt or a dip in one of the pools before grabbing some 

dinner.  

5:00 PM Head out for an evening of excitement at Fun Mountain and dinner at Uncle 

Buck’s.  

● Challenge the family to a race around the go-cart track and a round of bowling 

in our one-of-a-kind underwater themed bowling alley followed by hours of fun 

in the 

7:30 PM Enjoy the family bonfire, roast s'mores and watch the movie on the Swimmin’ 

Hole lawn.  

If you’re up for an evening stroll before calling it a night, meander your way to Truman 

Cafe & Custard for dessert on the patio!

DAY TWO 

8:00 AM Start your day at Devil’s Pool Restaurant for breakfast and coffee.  

9:30 AM Next, suit up, grab your sunscreen and head to the marina to hop on a boat 

for a day of fun on Table Rock Lake.  

*Don’t forget to rent a tube and other lake gear! 

12:00 PM Make an afternoon pitstop at Long Creek Marina for a quick lunch from The 

Canteen and to stock up on snacks and beverages. 

Take some time to chill on the beach or maybe sneak in a quick game of shuffleboard 

after returning from the lake. 

5:30 PM Head out for an evening at Top of the Rock and take off on an electric cart on 

the Lost Canyon Cave & Nature Trail tour.  

6:30 PM Afterwards, come face to face with prehistoric creatures, explore Civil War 

history and take in the largest most impressive collection of Native American artifacts 

in the Ancient Ozarks History Museum. 

7:30 PM Dine on the Patio of the Buffalo Bar or in the atrium at Osage Restaurant and 

enjoy picturesque views of Table rocks lake. 

8:30 PM Stick around to take in the beauty of the Ozarks and experience our evening 

Sunset Ceremony complete with the firing of the canon and a bag-piper. Don’t forget to 

snap your selfie and tag us #topoftherock #sunsetselfie  

 

DAY THREE 

At your leisure Rise and shine and make your way to Truman Cafe & Custard for 

coffee, breakfast bites, and smoothies while looking out over Table Rock Lake. 

9:00 AM Head out to Dogwood Canyon covering 10,000 acres of pristine Ozark

Mountain landscape, the park has miles of crystal-clear trout streams, cascading 

waterfalls, ancient burial caves, unique hand-built bridges and bottomless, blue-green 

pools. Hike, Bike, fish, & horseback riding and more for the nature lover.   

12:00 PM After wrapping up your journey stop for lunch at the Dogwood Canyon 

Canyon Mill & Grill built right over Indian Creek.  

Return from Dogwood Canyon to relax by the pool or hop on one of our 

complimentary paddle boats or canoes. Snag one at Bent Hook Marina for a late 

afternoon cruise around the cove. 

4:00 PM Check the Kids into the Kids Adventure Club at Fun Mountain for a fun filled 

themed adventure with our Activities staff, where they will learn skills like archery 

or bb guns, earn badges, make a cozy critter and eat dinner.   

4:30 PM Mom & Dad can sneak off for late afternoon massages and relax by the 

grotto in our 18,000 sq, world class Cedar Creek Spa.  

7:00PM Enjoy dinner & drinks at Buzzard Bar just before picking the kids up from 

the Kid’s Adventure Club at 8 PM.  

8:30 PM Meet on the Swimmin’ Hole Lawn for one last family adventure before the 

night is complete. Race around Big Cedar to find the clues and the final prize in our 

Blacklight Scavenger Hunt.
