To Whom It May Concern:
I am a National Board Certified teacher at Auburn Elementary School in Riner, Virginia. I have
been teaching for eight years in the elementary school setting. I am writing this letter torecommend Ms. Beth Harris for a teaching position with Montgomery County Schools.
Although I have known Ms. Harris for a short amount of time, I have worked with her many
times since January. She has been a substitute for special education teachers and aids that work
in my room, as well as for myself on occasion. During the times that I have worked directly with
Ms. Harris, I have found her to be dependable, hard-working, and flexible. She is very confident
in her ability to teach children and is able to maintain complete control of all situations while
keeping her composure. Ms. Harris is a highly motivated, self-starter which she demonstrated
each time she worked at AES. Even when she had a break or down time on the schedule given to
her, she would go around to classrooms to see if she could help in any way. I found that when
she was my substitute, she was diligent in completing what I left for the students to do
throughout the day. She was able to successfully manage the classroom and she left a detailed
reflection of the day for my return. I am very comfortable asking her to teach my class any time I
need to be absent.
Ms. Harris would be a tremendous asset to any school and has my highest recommendation. If
you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to call me.
Sincerely,
Chrissy Wiatrowski, NBCT

To whom it may concern:
I have known Beth Harris since she started elementary school where I worked as a Special
Education instructional aide. This past school year I have had the opportunity to work with Beth,
as she substituted in several of the classrooms where I work. It was obvious to me that she loved
working with the children and they were excited to see her whenever they saw her. She seems
knowledgeable about the curriculum and followed the teachers plans without difficulty. She
showed an easy rapport with the students while maintaining classroom structure.
I would highly recommend Beth for employment. She would be an asset to any classroom.
If I can be of any further assistance please feel free to contact me.
Sincerely,
Carrol Morgan

I have known Miss Harris for approximately three years. She is a very mature young woman. Ihave
watched her interact with customers at Cracker Barrel as a waitress. She is always very pleasant
and takes time to be sure her customers are taken care of and satisfied.
I know she is interested in teaching young children. I have watched her bond with youngsters in
her
work at Cracker Barrel. She always seems to get and hold their attention.
Miss Harris is very dedicated to any job she has. I have watched her schedule and she is always
at work
the times she has given me. She has also worked all the substitute teaching days she can.
Through our
conversations, I can tell she really enjoys working with young children and she seems to have a
natural
gift of reaching them. I have observed this first hand with the interaction Miss Harris has had
with my
own grandchildren.
I can be contacted at any time to answer any questions in regard to Miss Harris. I would highlyrecommend her for any position she feels she is interested in.

During the past eighteen years, I have known Beth Anne Harris and have observed her evolve
from a child into the engaging and competent young woman she is today. I would recommend

A quick learner and enthusiastic self-starter, Beth Anne would prove an asset to any future

A few of Ms. Harriss outstanding qualities include an admirable persistence in identifying and
pursuing her goals; an upbeat, positive can-do attitude when actively engaged in completing

team player yet also demonstrates initiative and enterprise when individually completing tasks.
She is undaunted by challenges.
Ms. Harris embodies the prerequisite qualities for employment, including honesty,
trustworthiness, and reliability. Equally important in my opinion, is that Beth Anne is
personable, able to relate to a variety of people, and is a good listenerattentive to the opinions
of others. She displays strong ethical standards, and is a warm and compassionate individual.
Additionally, from a very young age, Beth Anne has demonstrated a passion for children and
