Just two blocks o! campus, Gap o! ers the perfect combination of price and style. " e popular clothing chain has been o! ering

a! ordable American classics for more than four decades, and downtown Evanston’s location doesn’t disappoint. Unlike many clothing stores (looking at you, Forever #$), the men’s section isn’t cornered o! or minimal; the gents get nearly half of Gap’s real es-tate. It’s cheaper than higher-end stores like Jos. A. Bank, while still being more reliable than Crossroads just down the street. And at Northwestern, where winter runs nearly year-round, the annual spring sweater sale comes at the perfect time.

Whether you are looking for a pastel peplum or a torn-up tank, Urban has something for everyone. Its array of

accessories is nearly unparalleled, and its selection of party es-sentials is enough to get any social gathering started. Urban has a wide variety of styles and sizes that conform to most body types. What seems to keep it thriving, however, is its enviable “cool” factor. When perusing the shelves, it’s easy to % nd oneself engrossed in the idea of being able to “pull o! ” an ensemble that has caught the eye. Although some of the items are on the steeper side in terms of price, coveted brands are ever-present and make it hard to say no, as do the expansive sale racks.

" ere may be three gyms on Northwest-ern’s campus, but there is only one where you

will likely % nd a student-athlete. " e Henry Crown Sports Pa-vilion is close to what will be the future Ryan Fieldhouse and is where many student-athletes go to work out on campus when they don’t want to go up to the Ryan Field complex. Many bas-ketball players drop in to work on some of their skills during the o! season at SPAC, and both tennis teams practice and compete in the complex. It’s a longshot that a student-athlete will be there when you go to work out, but if you want to see an athlete on campus, SPAC is the place to go.
