Summary

■ PPDR voice services will be based on narrowband technologies (eg TETRA 1) for many years

■ PPDR broadband comes

■ LTE will provide data services for PPDR■ Separate frequency band

■ Europe-wide harmonized

■ Standardized

■ Close to the LTE frequency bands of commercial systems

■ The most important requirement is a decision about an available frequency band■ The frequencies, as the lifeline for broadband mobile data services, have to be

allocated now

■ 2 x 10 MHz within 700 MHz Frequency Band
