Urban overpass
Amasya is a historical North Anatolian city with less than 100 thousand people, whose his-tory dates back as far as the Hittites, Ancient Greeks and Romans. The aim is to make a com-mercial zone without interfering with existing historical and natural
values by adding an urban overpass from high street to the river shore. This way, the site merges into the context and creates a lively at-mosphere where everyone enjoys to be a part of past, present and the future.
Mahkemeacn is a village which lies 80 km north of Ankara. It has Byzantine caves around with green nature. Therefore, is a favourite trekking location for people of Ankara. This structure aims to be the center for those who come to the village for accomodation and trekking. It uses triangular trusses under a roof and an-gular vertical panels to prevent southern sun.

Weekend house in Mahkemeacn
The house designed for a family of three from Ankara who is going to stay here for the week-ends to be nearer to the atmosphere of nature and calmness. Therefore, the intention was to revive garden cities of Central Anatolia. The building was put to the corner in order to maxi-mize the garden and farming.

7Landscape design in Ayranc
The project is located in Ayranc district of Ankara which is densely populat-ed. The aim is to create a landscape that will contribute to the public collectiv-ity. The path from higher level to the lower level creates two main nodes for dierent purposes. One is made of hard surfaces that is used as a type of am-phitheater while the other becomes a soft grass surface to enjoy nature. Birch trees create a white forest of verticality and contributes to this nature concept.
The evergreen trees create a border for the site. However, main functional surfaces are covered with deciduous birch trees so that summer sun will aect less while winter sun will heat the area more.

The site lies through ubuk Stream which is one of the forgotten and neglect-ed streams of Ankara. The aim is to create a housing for a student community by creat-ing a social spine. This social spine is de-signed in parallel to the topography to revive the river bank. The eastern section of this spine is designed for housing units with auxilliary spaces for gathering. The western section is more for social purposes with a social square alongside the river bank.

The project is made as a structural design project to connect the old and new buildings of METU Faculty of Architecture. It creates a passageway while creating collective spaces. Parameters were adjusted to create this specific form. The struc-ture is called the dragon-skin.
Dragon skin structure which is made of slitted plywood panels used to make each unit a structural member. Altogether, they act as a vault. Moreover, the voids they create orient itself to the south to gain more sunlight while protecting the interior from wind and rain a big deal.
