far from normal, but the athletes have started returning to the trainingcentres to pick up the pieces of their sporting life. THE LEARNINGS: Self-belief. There was a time when we didn'tbelieve that we could win against the big teams of the world.But over the past couple of years, this has changed. Scanner, a free-of-cost document-scanning mobile appli-cation. The AI (Artificial Intelligence)-based reading as-sistant and document scanner app, developed by RohitKumar Chaudhary and Kavin Agrawal, was launched onAugust 15, as an indigenous alternative to the bannedChinese counterpart, Cam Scanner.

INNOVATION

● The AIR Scanner app does not collectany information about the user, andall the documents are stored in thephone's local storage. “We are notusing any cloud storage to store thedocuments of the users”, saidChaudhary and Agarwal. The appguarantees complete user security.The document scanned, using amobile camera, is saved in a PDF for-mat and is stored in the device only

● As of now, it is available only inEnglish language, but plans are onto make it available in multiple lan-guages, which will make it easy foranyone to read any language

As we already know DC recently releasedthe teaser trailer of Batman (2020) inwhich Robert Pattinson is going to portray the role of Gotham’s Dark

Knight. Earlier, Ben Affleck portrayed the role andwon many accolades for the same. Critics appre-ciated him for his acting skills. As per reports,Affleck will continue to portray the role of Bat-man in the Justice League upcoming film in 2021.Perhaps then we will be able to better judge whois the better Batman. But I am slightly biased towards Affleck. I think he portrayed the role better as the Knight who goes to any extent to savehis Gotham City. Affleck had a certain swag whichmade the entire Batman series so popular withthe masses. We haven’t seen Pattinson portray therole yet, but from the trailer he didn’t look all thatimpressive. In fact, he looked uncomfortable playing such a titular role.

Pattinson. Having said that, I don’t think any ac-tor can come close to Affleck in this role. We haveonly the trailer of the Pattinson Batman to go by,but I already miss Affleck. Sigh! What made Af-fleck a natural choice for this role was his gravevoice and the fact that he could pull of a dark shadewith such ease. He was a natural performer andone of the finest actors in H-Wood.

As is the case with Miss Nel-son, a nice, kind lady who was fed up withthe students in room 207, known for beingthe “the worst-behaved class in the wholeschool.” So, Miss Nelson dons a black wigand a fake nose, and steps into Room 207 asthe new substitute: Miss Viola Swamp who is the world’s worstteacher. And guess what, the students regret their wicked ways.

There are plenty of excellent teach-ers in the Harry Potter series (Minerva McGonagall) but auror Re-

mus Lupin tops our list. He makes the classfun, helps keep the Slytherin/Gryffindorrivalries at bay, and teaches them usefulskills. Plus, he’s always got chocolates.

Lilly wants to grow up to be exactlylike her favourite teacher Mr Slinger.But this changes when she brings

her new purple purse to school with lotsof treasures that she wishes to show offto her class. When Mr Slinger takes herpurse away, Lilly gets angry and retaliates.It is only when Mr Slinger explains the situation that she learns the importance ofbeing considerate, apologising when in the wrong, and forgiving others when they apologise.
