Install, modify, overhaul, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair complete avionics systems. Effectively plan tasks/determines appropriate steps/actions necessary to complete the project. Evaluate field trouble reports. Uses tech order specifications, schematics, and system drawings to install, modify, overhaul, maintain,

troubleshoot repair, rebuild, align, and calibrate integrated ground or airborne electronics systems. Uses technical order to set up, to select and validate correct software CPIN (Computer Program

Identification Number) and operates software controlled automated test equipment (ATE), and test stands, to run established programs in various test modes to test and troubleshoot integrated systems.

Utilizes test equipment, such as, oscilloscopes (dual trace, storage, digitized), spectrum, network and distortion analyzers, frequency counters, and signal generators in interpreting complex drawing, specifications, and schematics of complete integrated systems to recognize the function and interconnections of components, assemblies, subassemblies, and connecting cable harness; and in troubleshooting, installing, repairing, and maintaining electronic integrated circuits and functions, and the interaction of subsystems which create malfunctions.

Set up and operate custom software controlled automatic test equipment to test. Always perform self-diagnostic test and function test of system after any repair, modification, alignment. Assisted Engineering department in improving production procedures to decrease production loss or

adjustment. Use computer systems such as TAA, LDMS, ETIMS, TEDS, JEDMICS, FEDLOG, ACPINS to maintain

appropriate records which indicate all inspections, daily checks, preventative maintenance, and repairs of all electronic systems.

Use, maintains, and record inventory of hand and power tools, such as screwdrivers, drills, wrenches, soldering irons, and micro-soldering units, precision measurement tools. Use computer programs, such as ATACS to input time and attendance.

Utilizes safety practices and procedures following established safety rules and regulations and maintains a safe and clean work environment.

Have experience working rotating shifts and uncommon tours of duty. Have experience working in emergency situations and conditions. Possess the necessary clearance to perform work in sensitive areas. Have and will continue to be drug-free and be able to successfully pass DoD Drug Testing. Works to achieve and support quality improvement in all products and services by demonstrating
