Welcome to our second annual bull sale. Thank you to those who attended and purchased at last year’s sale.

We had several obstacles to overcome in 2012. Drought, feed shortage and the loss of the Bull Test Station in Douglas, but even with these changes we are very pleased with the bulls we present to you this year. The Blackbern and Whitewater bulls are being fed at our home farm in Foresters Falls. The bulls are fed free choice hay and limit fed a pelletted bull ration. Please stop by to see the bulls at any time.

When we met in 2011 to plan the Benchmark Sale we wanted to make this a long-term venture. With this in mind we have added a select number of open females to the sale.

The demand for Charolais and Char-cross calves continues to be high. Add in our philosophy of easy calving and high weaning weight and you will reap the benefits in the fall. Look through the catalogue and give us a call if you have any questions.

Welcome to the 2013 edition of the Benchmark Charolais Bull Sale! We are happy to be hosting our second annual sale with Blackbern Farm and WhiteWater Charolais.

We are offering a good selection of quality yearling bulls. They are backed by top genetics to provide the conformation, traits and performance you are looking for in a herdsire.

This year we’ve added a few open heifers to the sale line-up, replacement females that have the maternal characteristics to do a great job in any herd.
