Bruce S. Bellwood of Tuthill Lighting Receives 2014 Pillar of the Industry Award
DALLAS, Texas – Bruce S. Bellwood, president of Tuthill Lighting, was awarded the 2014 Pillar of the Industry Award by the American Lighting Association (ALA). Bellwood was honored in front of his peers during the ALA Annual Conference in Nashville, Tenn., on the evening of Sept. 16, 2014.
The Pillar of the Industry award is given to one Lighting store owner per year from the United States and Canada , for their contributions to the Lighting industry.
Bellwood is the third generation to serve as president of this family-‐owned lighting showroom, and he and his company are extremely well-‐respected among the lighting industry. Tuthill was founded in 1924 by his grandfather , G.B. Tuthill. His mother , Esther Mae Tuthill Bellwood , was the 2nd generation owner.
Tuthill is currently celebrating its 90th year in business.
