General Vito L. Belarmino National High School
Today, the acquisition of knowledge is one of the obligatory duties of every citizen of state. In the height of this event, the four barangays of Lucsugin, Litlit, Kalubkob and Batas with their leaders and sponsored councilors of the town namely; Mr. Fresco Belen, Mr. Constacio Aguilar and Mr. Pedro Lejos made petition and resolution to the Division Superintendent to open a barangay high school. In due time, the petition and resolution approved and the operation of the Barangay High School started. It was through the efforts of Mr. Candido Madlangsakay, the District Supervisor of Silang that plan materialized. It was June 1972 when the first set of the first year and second year students were accommodated. Its original building consisted of four academic classrooms.
The former name of this school was Kalubkob Barrio High School. Since, this is the school of the four barrios, the name was changed to General Vito Belarmino Barangay High School, in the memory of the hero of Silang, General Vito Belarmino (1857-1938) Major General of Revolutionary forces and was made a Zone Commander of the Filipino Army operating in Bicol Region against the American

To meet the demand of the tremendous increase of student’s population every year, the school updated its physical facilities thru the assistance of civic minded people, the PTA and local government officials. At the present the school server 1503 students and still continuously meeting the challenges of the time under the very able leadership of the School Head and strong partnership with the teachers and parents in order to produce graduates who are socially responsive, morally upright and academically equipped.

Throughout the years and within the limits of its resources General Vito L. Belarmino National High School (GVBNHS) aims for the excellence and disciplinary as its guiding principles.
It seeks to develop a well-rounded; an individual who is spiritually, morally, intellectually, physically and socially capable of surviving and coping in globally competitive world.

We are people committed to a culture of excellence in public service. We assist Filipino child to become competent, responsible, life-skilled and go loving citizens who actively participate in building humane, healthy and productive society.
Mission
General Vito L. Belarmino National High School (GVBNHS) uphold the ideals of a quality, relevant, nationalistic, mass oriented and scientific education, thus aiming to produce graduates possessing not only strength and intellect but also skills and character. It seeks to strengthen the positive Filipino values and eradicate the negative ones, and while it faithfully carries out the general objective of the Philippine education. General Vito L. Belarmino National High School (GVBNHS) has kept an open mind on the peculiarities of its clienteles whose majority comes from the families of farmers. The aim is to uplift and improve the totality of their being while keeping their feet still level on the ground.

Library
Plays a vital role in helping students find materials to help them carry out assignments, tasks and
researchers. The school provides materials for references, reading and information through the
assistance of the school librarians.
School Canteens
The school canteen managed by the teachers offers nutritious well balanced meals for the students at
reasonable prices.
Technology and Livelihood Education (TLE) Laboratory
Is designed to provide students with a strong foundation on livelihood and technology related activities.
Computer Laboratory
Air-conditioned computer rooms and laboratories are used by the students to study the various
applications of computer and other information technologies.
Science Laboratory
To help students understand theoretical parts of science and to make science more interesting and
enjoyable through actual experience.
Supreme Student Government Room (SSG)
Develop the leadership skills and qualities of all student leaders within its scope and jurisdiction. Strive
to influence the Studentry to be vigilantly aware of the basic rights as students and as a citizen of this
country and the benefits and privileges that they ought to get or they are entitled as students of this
school.
Clinic
Responsible for safeguarding the health of the students and school personnel. A child who gets sick
during classes hours is advised to go and stay in the clinic.
Guidance Office
Gives assistance to all members of the school community and support the school vision and mission
through a program that promotes the total information of a child personality and recognition of his
uniqueness, discovery of his talent and potentials.

We concluded that the customer analysis of General Vito L. Belarmino National High School
(GVBNHS) defines the ultimate consumers or the clients of the school. And how the hot buttons affects
the school to maintain in the market. But in unmeet needs affects the student’s expectation so the
school has opportunities in meeting of their unmeet needs. And in terms of the characteristic of the
segmentation of the students we interview teachers and they stated in the table 1 that 60% students of

GVBNHS are Shy, Passive, Excited (1st year), Friendly, naughty, lazy (2nd year),Curious and adventurous
(3rd year) and Self freedom and bossy (4th year) that comprises the general traits of their students
characteristics of GVBNHS but that characteristics they have will undergo improvement and changes to
become responsible student and puberty stages place a great factors that affects also to their
characteristics of the students.

We concluded that in the self check analysis we analyze their strengths and weaknesses in terms
of their marketing resources, financial resources, human resources, production resources, management
resources, organizational resources and information resources. That identifies how there resources be
being limited and enough to meet the needs of their clients/customers. And this resource can be a
competitive advantage of them from other competitors and it always do depend on how it was manage
and how their clients participate to them. So GVBNHS are careful in doing plan to penetrate their target
customers.

The opportunities and threats analysis show that GVBNHS has great percentage that it will
increase its customers because there is an increasing of population every year and in their adaptation of
new educational curriculum or school program it will meet the customer needs and satisfied because of
the offers of GVBNHS and the affordability of it with the good quality of education but in terms of their
establishment and location that gives effects to the customer of it that lessen the opportunity of the
prospect customers.

We concluded that the customers of General Vito L. Belarmino National High School (GVBNHS)
wants the quality of education of them, the affordability of the school and the expertise of the teachers
in teaching to them that gives them relevant education and also the school program and activities that
enhance their skill to become productive and gain experience.

Recommendation:
Recommendation on General Vito L. Belarmino national High School
We recommend that once students reach high school, they have choices about the courses they
take. While it's enticing to take only the classes they need to graduate in high school, they will be more
prepared for college if they take more challenging subject in General Vito L. Belarmino National High
School so they can use this educational program we call it Special Academic Class.
Special Academic Classes are composed of 2 types of subjects which are Key subject that will
taken by 1st year to 3rd year students and the vital subject that will taken only by fourth year. This Special
Academic Class will help the students to prepare them in tertiary level and to enhance their skill and be
more knowledgeable that will reflect the students and their prospect customer to enroll to their school.
And be known as public school with the advanced subjects that create attraction from other and help
their students to choose what they will be taken in college or university so that they are competent and
responsible of what they are doing and meet that vision and mission of school that they assist Filipino
child to become competent, responsible, life-skilled and go loving citizens who actively participate in
building humane, healthy and productive society.

It’s about the knowledge and skills in language arts, math and science that will build their creative and
logical thinking
Language Arts
People who succeed are people who can read and write. No matter what they end up doing, it pays to
be able to speak clearly and write well. They should prepare by taking as many classes in reading, writing
and speaking as they can fit into them.
Mathematics
Everyone uses numbers in the real world to solve problems. Math teaches them to think logically and
abstractly. Algebra and geometry are recommended for all high school students, but it's always good to
take even more than that.

Science
Learning how things work and studying the world around them it will help them understand how
scientific discoveries affect them, and their community and the world. Biology, chemistry and physics
are good subjects to prepare them for college.
Vital Subjects
In today's world, it's more important than ever to understand what's going on around and connect
globally.
Social Studies
Classes in geography, history and economics will help them understand what is happening in the world
and how they fit in it.
The Arts
Art helps them explore and appreciate their creative side. Classes might include music, drama, dance
and the visual arts.
Steps in Special Academic Classes:
1. The educational curriculum of GVBNHS will not change but it will add more topics that discuss
the relevant information.
2. Every year level corresponds to the different kinds of Key subjects every year. So that students
will be focused only in one special subject every year.
3. This Key subject will take only for 30 minutes of teaching every end of the classes or 2 hours and
30 minutes in a week. But it requires more teachers that master on the key subject and also the
vital subject.
