BEING FLIGHT ATTENDANT

• Being a flight attendant offers many advantages over other careers, including that it is always interesting. However, the job is not without distinct drawbacks. In a sense, it's a matter of high risk/high reward, in that for all of the exciting perks that the career has, there are also concessions that you'll need to account for that other, more traditional professions don't have.

• Airlines select and train their commissioners. Once phases of selection and training are finalized, the flight attendant enters directly into the labor market.

• The access to the profession is difficult, the selection includes several proofs of access as language tests, psychotechnical tests and interviews.

• Health conditions are also evaluated through rigorous medical examinations. As a crewmember of the aircraft, the flight attendant collaborates directly with the chief cabin, in a work always directed to the welfare, comfort and safety of passengers. This is a very competitive market, so companies increasingly give preference to candidates who possess a degree (in the fields of Languages , International Relations and Human Resource Management, among others).
