From the second we arrived, we were greeted with champagne on arrival and by a piper. We kept the piper as a surprise so the guests are still taking about that perk since! ”When we stepped foot in Bloomfield House Hotel we knew straight away there was a high level of expertise in the surroundings; we fell for the beautiful views and welcome smile from the Wedding co-ordinator and her staff. She has a small team that are well versed in keeping couples happy. They are a very professional bunch and pulled off a fabulous day for everyone of our guests and ourselves. Going through our planning “no” was never answered to one of our questions or requests. There were no hidden fees and no surprises in any way. We felt extremely comfortable on our wedding day and felt at home with everyone of the staff. Each one knew our names and knew every aspect of our planned day. We would not have changed a thing. Being a same sex marriage, our ceremony was onsite. Catering for 268 people was an impossible feat completed to perfection. The food was absolutely fantastic with not one complaint through the day. Compliments were flying and still are. We had heard that the Bloomfield food was excellent and they stayed true to their word. Bloomfield and their staff with their fantastic venue have nothing to change as they have it down. A hotel I would be bringing other hotel staff to train in: a centre of excellence. “”“”Myself and my husband had our Wedding Reception in Bloomfield House Hotel. Even before the day itself, the staff were so helpful. Any query which we emailed with was answered straight away. We had a menu tasting in February and the food was absolutely fantastic. We met the banqueting manager that evening, Sharon, and she was lovely to deal with. From the moment we arrived at the door of Bloomfield on our Wedding day, everything was perfect. Nothing was too much trouble. The meal was beautiful and was served on time and there was no long delays between courses. We found all the staff to be very helpful and nice. I've since had some wedding guests comment on how nice the staff were and how the wedding meal and the breakfast the next morning were lovely. The grounds of the hotel are beautiful for photographs as it’s a lakeside setting so we just went straight from the church to the hotel for photos. The Honeymoon Suite itself was lovely and spacious and clean with beautiful views. I had to go back to the hotel a few days later as I forgot something, and there was a lovely bag of goodies ready for me...a newspaper from the day of our wedding, a menu (which had our family photo on it), the table plan and wine. Wedding Deposit Terms & Conditions

Provisional bookings can be held for 14 days, thereafter it is at Managements discretion to release the date if no deposit

is received.

Deposit: When you hold your Reception at Bloomfield House Hotel, a non-refundable deposit of €1000 will be required to

confirm your booking. Payment of this deposit indicates acceptance of the following Terms & Conditions. A further €1500

deposit is required 3 Months prior to the wedding. 75% of the balance of your account, based on final numbers, is due for

payment 2 Weeks prior to your wedding with the remaining balance to be paid in full on departure. Final arrangements

regarding Menu choice, drinks etc. are to be given 4 Weeks prior to the Wedding, together with the expected numbers of guests attending.

Please note:

Our Bloom, Blossom & Bouquet Wedding Packages only apply to wedding receptions of 150 adults or more in the

Belvedere Suite and 90 adults or more in the Ennell Suite and are based on a minimum price of €47.50 per person (excluding Christmas & New Years Eve Weddings). Minimum number of 200 Adults on the Bloom Package required for New Years Eve Weddings. Minimum number of 90 Adults required from 26th - 30th of December & 1st of January.

Conditions may apply in relation to numbers attending the Evening Reception.

This can be discussed further with Management.

• The final numbers of persons attending the wedding must be notified to us at least 48 Hours prior to the wedding. This will be the minimum number that you will be charged for, if that number exceeds the minimum numbers agreed in your package deal. Otherwise you will be charged for the minimum numbers agreed in your package, as stated above.

Example: Book Ennell Suite for 90 adults on the Package - 80 adults attend - Charged for the full 90. Book the Belvedere Suite for 150 adults on the Package - 140 adults attend - Charged for the full 150.

• Menu prices may vary subject to seasonal availability of certain products and Government changes. All prices quoted are

subject to proportionate yearly increases according to rises in direct costs or operational costs, taxes or unforeseen

circumstances. Menu prices will be charged per menu prices on the year your wedding is held.

• Should you decide on a choice menu for one course or throughout the meal, it should be noted that additional charges would be incurred. To calculate the cost, select the choice with the higher cost as your base price and add €2.00 (Main Course €3.95) to this price. We do not recommend more than two choices per course.

• All entertainment must be approved by the Management of the Hotel and must finish 30 Minutes after bar closing time. DJ’s and Entertainers must provide their own equipment and accept responsibility for same.

• Our Gift to You perks are based on final numbers and are subject to availability. These should be agreed when paying your wedding deposit. If your chosen perk is unavailable, an alternative perk of equal value must be chosen. No cash alterative will be offered.

• Cancellations must be made in writing. Cancellation charges, in addition to the forfeit of the deposit, will be charged in full if the wedding is cancelled within 12 Weeks of the wedding date and 50% of the estimated final bill if cancelled within 6 Months. Cancellation charges will include all items booked.

• Accounts are rendered for payment in full on the day after the wedding by Cash, Credit Card, Debit Card, Bank Draft or Cheque accompanied by a valid cheque card.

The Hotel reserves the right to refund deposits in circumstances when a booking is made through a third party or under false pretences. Prospective clients must always meet with a member of Management by appointment prior to acceptance of a

deposit. The Hotel may cancel the event in circumstances where the Hotel has reason to believe that the booking might

prejudice the reputation of the Hotel should any guest attending the event behave in any way considered to be detrimental, offensive or contrary to normal expected behaviour. It is advisable to make an appointment for a show-around and to

discuss dates.

• Only food and beverages supplied by the Hotel may be consumed on the premises.

• Bloomfield House Hotel, Leisure Club & Spa reserves the right to accommodate two or more functions on the same day.

• We will offer an allocation of 20 bedrooms at a rate discounted from the Hotels rack rate. Additional rooms are subject to availability. Rooms are sold to your guests directly on a first come first serve basis, unless stated otherwise. This applies to New Years Eve Weddings also. Surplus rooms may be subject to a 2 night minimum stay. All bedrooms booked by guests must be secured with a booking deposit or credit card. Unsold rooms will be released 1 Month prior to the wedding. All Bedrooms booked directly by the Wedding Couple will be the Wedding Couple’s responsibility and will be subject to cancellation and non arrival charges. Check in time is after 3pm and check out time is 12 noon.

• The Management of the Hotel chooses all Package Wines.

• Children are not included in your package minimum numbers. Kids Menu is available to children 12 years and under only.

The Kids Club is subject to availability.

• Where the evening food is included in your package, we will cater for 75% of the final number of your day guests. We recommend the Evening Buffet be served to a minimum of 75% of the total number of guests in attendance for the evening reception.

• Bloomfield House Hotel offers Wedding Menu Tasting for the Wedding Couple at our Wedding Menu Tasting nights. A charge will apply for additional guests.

• The Wedding Couple shall be responsible for any damage to fittings, furnishings, fire equipment, safety equipment, walls, floors and carpets during the function.

• The Wedding Couple shall also accept full responsibility for the behaviour of the guests they have invited to their function, and agree all charges for disturbances caused by the behaviour of their guests thereby covering all costs incurred by the Hotel.

• Bloomfield House Hotel does not take responsibility for gifts, cards, cakes etc. left in the Hotel and does not take responsibility for loss, damage or theft to property owned by clients or their guests.

• Data Protection: Bloomfield House Hotel, in line with General Data Protection Regulations, cannot disclose personal data of our guests. Wedding Party names displayed (e.g. Place Cards, Table Plans etc.) are classed as your data.

• Our Wedding Coordinator will assist you with all queries and planning leading up to your wedding day. On the day, your

wedding will be coordinated by our Banqueting team who will ensure all your plans are put in place.

• All prices are inclusive of Government Tax. There is no service charge.
