It’s been a while... since I finished year 12 at Ballajura Community College in 2007. As a year 12 student I can’t recall how I managed to ace all my subjects; English, Geography, Discrete Mathematics, Art and Aspects of Tourism, and score 90.55 in my Tertiary Entrance Exams. So apparently I am certified for the Western Australian Certificate of Education and Curriculum Council English Language competence. I topped my year in Geography and TEE Art and managed to even swoon a few important people and get the Community Arts Award.

I began working for corporate giant Woolworths at age fourteen, and in five years managed to manage the farmyard of chaos which was the front end, whilst somehow juggling a social life and full-time uni. I also worked a short time with Viva Photography in sales promotions. In which I perfected my sweet talking skills and whist maintaining my professional and approachable manner. As for now, I’m the one man design team at Malaga Print and Copy which I am involved in design, marketing, printing, plenty pre-press and teaching tasteless clients to appreciate good design. I also freelance in my own time, which I manage myself and produce artwork and media for corporate clients, small businesses, and musicians.

I also am vice-chairman of the Enough is Enough WA Roadsafety committee, a youth run non-for-profit organisation set up in protest to reckless driving behaviour and drink driving. This cause has hit pretty close to home for me and has been a driving force (pardon the pun) for my organisation, advertising, marketing and promotion skills. We have convinced Mainroads WA and the RAC to sponsor us and had overwhelming support from the community and gen-y population and strive to educated and improve youth driving behaviour.

Im good for reaching things in high places, finding people in a crowd, cooking delicious things, chatting up clients, quaffing cheap wine and being a domestic goddess and organisational drama queen. And I guess you could also say design, identity, packaging, illustration, publications, typography and all that jazz. I’m quite handy with programs such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and Adobe InDesign, currently working with CS4 suite. I’m confident on both PC and Mac systems, and I’m also an expert in fixing computers by turning them off and on again.

These days I am seeming to become more fond of things like homewares, tax returns and trying to do my bit for the world. I love to travel and my mind is always wondering which exotic destination untouched by tourist clutter to go next. My mind never stops; I am always working, volunteering, freelancing, consuming caffeine, planning projects and trying to do the best by everybody around me.

I like good food, taxidermy insects, pretty things, kids movies, icecream, cheap dates, sniggering in art galleries, embracing the unusual, stupid conversations that roll on forever and endless adventures down the beach and road trips to oblivion. But when I’m not off chasing the world you will find me wasting time trawling though design blogs, spending Sunday mornings at the beach, talking nonsense to old people and serenading people from my car while i’m stuck in traffic.
