We offer world-class products for demanding applications from multiple international facilities, a range of capabilities found nowhere else, and the technical horsepower to back it all up.

Metalworking processes and capabilities: Centrifugal casting:

– Horizontal to 60” (1,525 mm) diameter, 432” (11.0 m) length. – Vertical to 180” (4,572 mm) diameter. – Up to 135,000 lbs. (61,350 kg) cast weight.

Static Sand casting: – To 144” (3,660 mm) cube. – Up to 36,000 lbs. (16,360 kg) cast weight.

Investment casting: – To 40” diameter x 34” length (1,016 mm x 864 mm) envelope. – Up to 1,400 lbs. (635 kg) cast weight.

Static HPLT casting: – Up to 100” x 130” x 72” (2,540 mm x 3,300 mm x 1,830 mm) mold. – Up to 12,000 lbs. (5,450 kg) cast weight.

Continuous casting: – Bar ½” to 9” (13 mm to 229 mm). – Tube 1-1/8” to 9” (29 mm to 229 mm). – Rectangle up to 4” by 15” (102 mm x 381 mm). – Up to 144” (3,660 mm) length. Rectangles to 384” (9.8 m) or more.

Vacuum casting, Centrifugal: – Up to 18” x 42“ (460 mm x 1070 mm) diameter. – Up to 800 lbs. (364 kg) cast weight.

Fabrication: – Petrochemical tube and coil fabrication.

Complete rough and finish machining: – 150+ machining centers across all MetalTek facilities. – Boring, turning, honing, milling, drilling, tapping, slotting, slitting, polishing.

Fully certified in-house non-destructive testing: – LPI, FPI, Radiography/X-ray, Hydrostatic, Eddy Current, Mag particle, CMM/Layout.

Argon Oxygen Decarburization refining at three facilities with capacity up to 40,000 lbs. (18,200 kg.).

Heat treatment at multiple locations: – Computer controlled. – Oil, water, and air quench. – Vacuum heat treatment. – Nadcap certified.

Net-shaping and near net-shaping. In-house pattern making. Patternless molding. Rapid prototyping. Solidification modeling. Dozens of certifications in aerospace, nuclear, and many industrial markets.
