的小店，可為客人提供各式精品咖啡，有些還會舉辦試

飲會等活動以饗同好。

THE CUPPING ROOM這間裝潢簡約的咖啡店位於上環，由獲獎咖啡師趙

家寶主理。他於今年在意大利舉行的世界咖啡大師

賽中，與來自全球各地的參賽者一較高下，最終榮獲

亞軍。店內提供以意式特濃咖啡及滴濾咖啡沖調而

成的精品咖啡，當中包括與美國咖啡豆烘焙坊Sweet Bloom Coffee Rosters合作的多款獨家調配咖啡。店內還會定期舉辦大型試飲會。

THE COFFEE ACADEMICSThe Coffee Academics的旗艦店位於銅鑼灣，以挑高天花、裸露磚牆及戶外半開放式座位，予人置身貨倉

的感覺，營造出輕鬆悠閒的氛圍。店內設有專用烘培

室，並舉行咖啡豆烘焙工作坊，還會在毗鄰的Coffee Academics Studio定期舉辦試飲活動及咖啡調製課程。另外，客人可以自選喜愛的咖啡豆，隨自己口味調

THE CUPPING ROOMThis minimalist café in Sheung Wan district is helmed by Derek Chiu, who claimed second-place at this year’s World Barista Championship in Italy, so it’s guaranteed that this expert team knows its stuff. Its speciality espresso-based and drip coffees include exclusive blends created in partnership with American roaster Sweet Bloom. UNAR COFFEE COMPANYThis quirky little Tsim Sha Tsui café is the obvious choice for a grab-and-go coffee before a ride on the Star Ferry: the kiosk is located at the pier, before the entrance to the upper deck of the Star Ferry to Central. Like its sister branch in Tai Hang district, Unar excels at espresso-based drinks; you’ll find all the standards plus a few unusual extras – the iced cucumber latte is a cult favourite.www.facebook.com/unarcoffeecompany.shop2

18 GRAMS One of the first cafés to popularise coffee culture in Hong Kong, 18 Grams now has several locations throughout the city, but its Cannon Street branch in Causeway Bay district was the one that started it all. The small inviting haven in the hectic area offers an in-house Black Sheep espresso blend comprising Mexican, Indian, Colombian and Costa Rican beans that have been locally roasted.www.18grams.com

ZAI FÉZai Fé means “black coffee” in colloquial Cantonese so it’s no surprise that the shop’s signature is a quick, strong shot. This stylish espresso bar located in Quarry Bay district roasts all its own beans and makes a number of different blends – look out for innovative flavours such as spicy chilli.www.zai-fe.com

AMICALFrom its leafy outdoor terrace to its signature latte art of hearts, cats and teddy-bear pictures made with frothed milk, this Sun Street café in Wan Chai has charm to spare. 意式特濃咖啡

這是調製下列各款咖啡的基

底。其製作方式是先將咖啡豆研磨成

粉，再利用熱水高壓沖泡，濃縮咖啡 表面會浮現一層薄薄的泡沫，稱為咖啡

油。這款咖啡驟眼看似小小一杯，卻以

味道濃烈及咖啡因含量高見稱。

EspressoThe foundation of all the coffee drinks listed here, espresso is created when hot water is forced through finely ground beans at high pressure, creating a shot of concentrated coffee with a thin frothy layer called a crema on top. It might look small but it packs a punch, both in terms of flavour and caffeine.
