I have heard nothing but positive statements about the evening! We look forward to our fourth annual science night next year! Our staff and students have benefitted from the support our PTO Executive Board has given our school this year. Thank you to everyone who has served! I am pleased to report that our Beagle ROCKS luncheon this month was another great success! It is an honor to celebrate with students who are recognized by our staff for consistently meeting our behavioral expectations. One new acknowledgement reward that we have instituted recently is a weekly recognition for students who get caught and receive a Comet Catcher during the week. Comet Catcher coupons are randomly drawn from the box, and the students whose names are drawn get to participate in a special end-of- the-day Friday activity. The activities so far have been playing board games and using iPads, and students have been thrilled to be chosen! As always, if you have any questions or would like to discuss any concerns, please contact me. PTO NEWS BONUS BOX TOPS AT MEIJER!! The Hayes PTO is looking for Officers for next year.

If you have a current 6th grader, please consider volunteering to serve. If you have been involved in your parent organization at the elementary level, and are worried about the commitment, please be aware that the responsibilities at the middle school level are much less demanding. Please contact Julie LaLumia at [email protected] or 517-927-4697 if you are interested. Thanks!
