Snow  Dayby  Charles  Heath

This  year  has  been  a  very  hot  winter

It  hasn’t  resulted  in  anything  but  splinters.

I  was  wishing  for  a  snow  day  to  stay  away  from

school,That  would  be  so  awesomely  cool.

I  awoke  one  morning  to  the  sound  of  a  bird,

It  was  snowing,  how  absurd.

Finally,  a  snow  day  for  me,Now  it’s  time  to  relax  and

play  Wii.

Trapeze School Birthdayby Charles Heath

One day for my birthday, I went to trapeze schoolIt was nothing like having a karate dual.

I looked up 25 feet in the air,A place like this should be very rare.

They asked the birthday boy to go first,I guess that’s me, but I am definitely worst.

I had to chalk my hands and climb up the ladder,When I got up, I was suddenly gladder.

I had to lean over the edge to be terrified again,But I had to do it to turn ten!

Brunswick’s  Lower  School  Mar4n  Luther  King  Day

by  Adam  Morris

Mar%n  Luther  King  Day  at  Brunswick  school  was  a  very  big  occasion.    Everyone  had  a  great  %me  with  the  Lower,  Middle,  and  Upper  school  boys  with  their  speeches  and  all  the  singers.    What  Mar%n  Luther  king  did  was  great.  Mar%n  Luther  King  did  what  no  one  could  have  ever  done.  We  all  are  proud  that  he  made  this  big  change  for  the  world.  He  made  all  African  Americans  feel  welcome.    He  changed  everyone’s  thoughts  about  how  black  people  were  treated.    His  speech  at  the  Lincoln  Memorial  was  heard  worldwide.    AFer  that  speech,  America  was  changed  by  one  man  who  cared  about  all  people,  no  maGer  what  their  skin  color.

Lower School Assembly

During the Animal

Embassy Assembly, the boys had the opportunity to see, and even

hold some unique and

exciting animals from all over the country. The boys

learned not only about how

animals communicate

with one another, but

also how they communicate with people!

Why Mrs. Das Should Root for the Patriots by Frankie Vassalluzzo

I am writing this essay to convince Mrs. Das to root for the New England Patriots. I hope after reading this paper she will be convinced. Mrs. Das should root for the Patriots because their record is 13-3. Tom Brady is a great quarterback because this year he has 5,069 passing yards and he had 5 super bowl appearances. He’s won three and lost one, not including this Super Bowl. This Super Bowl is a rematch. You may like the Giants because you live close to New York. Also, Miss John is rooting for them. Their record is 9-7. Over the years Tom Brady is better than Eli Manning. The Patriots won four more games than the Giants this season. Eli Manning won one Super Bowl; Tom Brady won three Super Bowls. Because I took the time to write this you should agree with me.
