Please make plans with your children for what they should do in case of an early dismissal from school for inclement weather. YOU must make these arrangements with your children in advance . BCMS cannot take bus notes or changes over the telephone. We cannot guarantee that your student will receive messages sent via fax or email. Thank you for your cooperation. These guidelines are put in place to insure the safety of all of our students.     The Bourbon County Middle School 21st Century

    Project LIFE (Learning, Imagination, Fun and

    Enrichment) can help!!

    We offer a snack and homework assistance during

    first hour (3:55 – 4:35)!

    During second hour (4:35 – 5:15) students can

    participate in enrichment activities that include Wii

    fit/sports, archery, computer games, drama and art.

    Transportation home can be provided if students stay

    for both hours.

    yearbooks is Jan 17, 2014.

    Attendance Stars are announced monthly! The grade with the highest overall student attendance percentage for the year receives a reward. October – To Be Announced November – To Be Announced Compliments of Friends of Rachel.

    Congratulations to Colby Williams!

    He was our TOP SELLER for the Fall Cookie Dough Fundraiser.

    He recently enjoyed a limo ride to Clay’s Restaurant

    for an elegant lunch with 11 other fundraiser winners!

    He also gathered $14 in his Dash for Cash and

    $100 in Deal or No Deal!!

    But, I think his favorite prize may have been the Pie in the Face with Mrs. Hall !?!

    The Yearbook Staff is accepting 8th grade baby

    pictures to include in a special section in this year's book. To have your picture included, either bring a

    hard copy with your name and advisory teacher printed on the back or e-mail your picture to Mrs.

    deGolian at [email protected] To be included, pictures MUST be recieved by December

    20, 2013. All pictures will be returned.

    BUS NOTES

    Special requests for a student to ride a bus, other than their assigned bus, to places other than

    home for reasons of emergency, necessity, etc., must be in writing—NO PHONE CALLS

    WILL BE ACCEPTED. These notes will be issued to students in a.m. gym from 7:30-8:20 a.m.

    Please make every effort to pre-arrange bus note changes during these times.

    Transportation changes cannot be received over the telephone. All bus notes or transportation

    information must be provided by a signed note from parent/guardian.

    When boarding the bus, the student must give the approved bus note to the driver—ONLY THE

    NOTE ISSUED BY THE SCHOOL WILL BE ACCEPTED BY THE DRIVER.
