April 5, 2005: First Technical seminar was organized by BB at NIT, Patna on 5th April 2005 in the

evening from 4:00PM to 7:00PM in Electronics & Communication Department Lecture Theatre. It

was presided by Prof. S. P. Verma, Physics Department, Patna Science College. Mr. Samir Kr.

Mishra gave a lucid one hour seminar on Data Base Management based on Semantics. Seminar

was followed by question –answer session. After the Seminar, a slide show presentation was made

on the plans and activities of Bihar Brains Trust. He works as the Solutions Architect at SafeWorld

Australia and New Zealand Pvt. Ltd.Brisbane.

July 26, 2005: VLSI orientation program conducted at Dept of Physics, Science college Patna,

Mentor: Mr. Bibhuti Bikramaditya,Chairman ,BiharBrains . He took lecture on facets of VLSI

July 30, 2005: BB scholastic center inaugural function held. It was inaugurated by Dr. Rajmani

Pd. Sinha, VC Mithila University. Dr. Jaggannath Thakur was the Chief Guest of the Inaugural

Function. Mr. Bibhuti Bikramaditya gave talk (PPT Presentation) on Bihar Brains and its activities

in front of around 100 distinguest guests and youngsters. Dr. B.K Sharma presided over the

function and Sri Amalendu Narayan Sinha gave his lucrative speech and give vote thanks to the guests.

A Debate competition on “Standards of Education in Bihar” was organized by “Facon De

Parlour”: A renowned debating society of Bihar located at Rajendra Nagar, Patna. Sri Vijay Sinha,

Director Of the “Facon De Parlour” was present in the debate competition and chaired competition.

Winners were awarded by Dr. Rajmani Sinha and Certificates were distributed among the participants of VLSI Orientation Program by Dr. J.Thakur.

Oct 1-2, 2005: 3D Modeling Program at NIT, Patna Mentor: Mr. Rishu Kumar, Infosys Ltd,

Patna Feb 5, 2006: BiharBrains launched seven days Evening time Orientation program. Mr.

Bibhuti Bikramaditya delivered 5 days lecture on various aspects of VLSI Systems and practices on

VHDL, a programming language of VLSI. The Pune based company NI2LOGIC PVT LTD

(www.nilogic.com) was called for the two days hands on training on tool and FPGA KITS.

of books on Microprocessors and Microcontrollers, Prof B Ram EX-HOD, NIT, Patna was invited chief

Patna Resource Center Inaugural Function of and the Release of Manthan Feb15, 2006

Patna Feb 15, 2006: BiharBrains inaugurated its second center at Dept of Physics, Patna Science

College in association with Dept of Physics in the name of “Patna Resource Center”, an extension

branch of BB Scholastic center. In this occasion BiharBrains released its first magazine “Manthan”

and prizes and certificates were awarded to the participants of Career counseling program,

workshops on Embedded systems and Evening course on VLSI. Following are the details of the

Patna Feb 19, 2006: Mr. Bibhuti called meeting of youngsters and unemployed youth of Janipur

Village and decided to establish BB Chapter.

BB Establishes first Village chapter in the district of Sitamarhi called “Janipur”. Sri Sanjay

Kumar Mandal, Teacher in Govt middle school in the nearby village, elected as representative of

Janipur BiharBrains Chapter.

Janipur March 25, 2006: Inter school level competition held at JANIPUR Middle school. Mukhiya

of the Village Sri Ram Kumar Mishra inaugurated the function and Mr. Bibhuti Bikramaditya was the

Chief Guest on the occasion. Five schools of the same village panchayat were attended and

participated in the competition. Prizes were distributed among students who got first and second

prize in the event of ganit daud, debate competition and singing. Mr. Bibhuti announced to appoint

one teacher from BiharBrains because of the immediate need of the math teacher in the school.

NISC /IISER in Bihar. In the meeting serious discussions were held on the various aspects of

establishing NISC /IISER and other research institutes in Bihar.

Resolution of the meeting:

a. BB will form core committee for the demand of NISC/IISER in Bihar. The committee will give its

report in one month time.

b. BB will Organize seminar for creating environment in Bihar for the investors in the month of

Nov,06 in association with the Dept of Science & Technology, Govt of Bihar BB will invite NRIs

/CEOs of MNCs /Academicians in the same event and take ideas from them.

Patna 3-4 June ,2006 :BiharBrains Organized Two days DISHA EVENT at Dept of Physics ,

Patna Science Patna .The two days event were inaugurated by Dr. Anil Kumar ,Hon’ble Minster for

Science & Technology,Govt of Bihar in presence of Many Bigwigs of Bihar like Famous IG of police

Sri Abhayanand jee( who got credit to send super 30 students in IITs in a very unique style of

his teaching), Dr. Jagganath Thakur , EX-VC Patna university . The meeting was presided by Dr.

B,K Sharma ,HOD Electronics ,NIT Patna . Mr. Kumar Sajan was the coordinator of this event with

his team of 20 young IT professionals of BIT Mesra and IITs. There were many session for mock

interviews, exams and group discussion for the getting job into reputed Indian companies along

with MNCs. Around 400 students enjoyed hectic two days session of DISHA that was very much

successful in giving guidance to youngsters to acquaint themselves about recent industry trends

and demands.

Disha: Opportunities for IT Professionals of Bihar : June 3-4 ,2006

Second anniversary of Bihar Brains organized: Oct 4, 2006


Delhi, Dec24, 2006: Sri Alok Kumar Bihari ,a member of BiharBrains in Delhi presented his

model of the project in presence of all local members of delhi in a meeting on the arrival of Sri

Bibhuti Bikramaditya, chairman of BiharBrains . The meeting was called by Sri Dhirendra kumar,

Delhi representatives of BiharBrains. In the meeting he put his idea of project whatever he did so

far and also showed his live demo at his house.

As per Scheme, the whole idea is to remove present “Nala” Drainage system. He presented his

model for solution which will also protect river water to become dirty as well as stop water level

decreasing tendency.

After long discussion, we decided Following

1. To support his model worldwide

2. BB will arrange meeting with CWRS, Patna (a unit of NIT for central water research) to

know the authenticity of his project which will help us to know about the feasibility of his

project.

3. His demo was already published by all newspapers and news channel “Aaj tak/Aankhon

Dekhi/Zee news etc. we decided that Mr. Ranjeet and Mr. Dhirendra will hold once again

meeting with fellow man for taking his interviews on video on second week of Jan, 2007. His

video will be uploaded into Bihar Brains website.

4. After successful meeting with Scientist of CWRS, we can think about the model of this

project in delhi and we will give all support to him.

“Chip Design Trends and Fabrication Porspects In India” at dept of Electronics and communication,

National Institute of Technology, Patna.

Patna ,Jan8,2007 :A four member delegation of BiharBrains met Sri Sushil Kumar Modi, Deputy

Chief Minister, Govt of Bihar today at 5.00 P.M. and presented the demand for establishment of

Indian Institute of Science Education & Research (IISER) and discussed its various facets. The

meeting lasted for about forty minutes. Mr. Modi was very positive in his approach and tried to

understand the problems associated with science education and research in the state of Bihar and

good students in the higher education especially in the science/ technology field. He assured the

delegation that as he had a scheduled meeting with Chief Minister on 9th Jan 2007, he would make

it a point to raise the issues presented in the memorandum with him. The delegation stressed that

it was high time for the state government to make it a point to strongly demand the IISER in our

Delegation of BiharBrains Meet with Hon’ble DY CM : Jan 9, 2007


Patna,Jan 19-21,2007: The Institute for Human Development, (http://www.ihdindia.org), New

Delhi and Bihar Times (http://www.bihartimes.com), Patna in collaboration with the Government of

Bihar organised the first ever “Global Meet for a Resurgent Bihar” from 19 to 21 January

2007 at Hotel Maurya, Patna. This meet was inaugurated by Hon’ble President of India, Dr.

A.P.J Abdul Kalam on Jan 19, 2007 at S.K Memorial Hall, Patna.

On this event, BiharBrains as a group/organization was selected as “Participation Associate”

and given responsibility to work as “overseas coordinator” with objectives to spread mission of

the conference among all NRIs and NRBs for their participation in the global meet. Sri Bibhuti

Bikramaditya, Chairman of BiharBrains was one of the overseas coordinator of six member’s

coordinators team from all over the world who played significant role in organizing the said event.
