Re-organized, developed, administered and taught the Behavioral Science and Family Systems curriculum 1984 -1994.

Developed, administered and taught a program of Family Practice resident research. Re-organized, developed and administered a program of resident evaluation. Recognized at

the American Board of Medical Specialties meeting in San Francisco, 1987, as an outstanding program.

Developed and use a training video for community discussion of end-of-life decision making through a community-wide ethics organization, the ECHO Project, 1997-

Developed and implemented the Lake Superior Medical Society's Annual Research Forum for practicing physicians to present their own clinical research, 1984-1989.

Designed, researched and administered an evaluation and training program about resuscitation policies with all physicians and nurses in Duluth, Minnesota, 1984-6.

Developed the first support groups which became a national and international program of Grief Support; facilitated support groups 1977-87.
