Depends on where you are,the minimum room temperature for germinating your baobab is 15°C.

1. Cutting/ Using sand paper to make part of the seed coat thinner. You will see a lighter color inside, that is the actual baobab seed.

2. Boil a cup of water, and put your seeds inside the boiled water. (Don’t boil the baobab seed !)If you see some seeds floating on thewater, remove them.

3a. Soak your seeds for 1-2 days. Keep the water warm.

3b. When you see your seed increase it size for 1.5 times, you can take them out from water.

4. Cover your seeds by wet cotton or moist towel. When you see a little white tail growing from your seeds you can move them to the pot.

You can use a mix of coarse river sand, perlite soil and gravel stone for the pot.

Never use clay soil.

Soil Test :

After you pour water into the pot, the water shall come out from the bottom after 10 seconds.after 10 seconds.

WHERE TO PUTYour

BaobabPut in a place with strong and directsunlight. Make sure the temperature is above 10°C.

If you have a low temperature at night, move it away from the window.
