In Bangladesh many private & public banks provide scholarship for the students studying in different school, college, universities in Bangladesh and respond the Social Responsibility. So banks in Bangladesh have been playing a vital role in developing the education and social environment sector.

• DBBL donates a DNA detection machine to Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University.

Dutch-Bangla Bank Scholarship

• Dutch-Bangla Bank Limited is another important bank offering scholarship for the students who have been studying in school, college and university level. They offer an amount of Tk. 102 crores for a year. Students with good result in SSC and HSC can avail the opportunity of the scholarship offers by Dutch-Bangla Bank.

Prime Bank Limited offers the scholarship every year. It has been offering the scholarship since 2007. They offer the scholarship for the students of SSC and HSC level.

• donated Tk. 25 lack for the victims of devastating landslides in Chittagong

South East Bank Foundation gives the opportunity of studying in different level through their student scholarship program. South East Bank provide 3% profit donated by Social Responsibility .

• SBE donates books for Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University.

• SBE has donated a bus to Bangladesh Agricultural University.

• Southeast Bank under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) donated Tk 0.5 million to Assistant Inspector General (AIG), Police Headquarters.

Mercantile Bank Limited is also offer the scholarships for the students have been studying in different level. They offer the scholarships for the students of JSC, SSC and HSC level.
