Possibilities fields of co-operation:

• Pre-announcement about dangerous goods send from Hamburg to finnish Port Authorities

• Visualization of the Dangerous Goods Locations in the finnish Ports (see workshop of Jan. the 11th 2000)

• Exchange of dangerous goods declaration

• Discussion with Port @ Net about exchange of data (method, cost)

• Awaiting answer of Port @ Net.

Status:

• Polzug is using the new application UNIKAT and the link of the Polzug-application to UNIKAT for all Container-Transports starting in Hamburg and Bremen/Bremerhaven, there is no „Double-typing“ for these transports.

• The interface needs further adjustments.

• The next steps will be:

• Automatization of data-processing in UNIKAT

• Implementation of a new interface between UNIKAT and Stevedores in Hamburg for statusinformation

• Upgrade of the Polzug-System (by HPC)
