Dear Customer,

In order to briefly summarise the current main trends in thecommodities markets we have outlined some of the key “moversand shakers”. We are able to provide you with additional detailabout any of these upon request through our Sales, Telesales orPurchasing Depts.

Soft Commodities - Sugar prices decreased on the InternationalCurrency Exchange by 9% due to an oversupply in the market.Although ending stocks are forecast to fall in 2014/15 to 44.4million tonnes, this remains 12% above the five year average.Cocoa bean prices continued to increase by average 6% due toincreasing demand and disrupted transportation in West Africaas efforts to prevent the Ebola Virus from spreading continues.Cocoa powder prices have risen 5% and prices for cocoa butterhave also increased by 3%.

Fats and Oils - Prices for soybean oil in Rotterdam rose 3% dueto lower than usual stocks. Palm Oil prices in Malaysia increaseddriven by demand. Palm kernel oil prices were also up by 6%following the increase in Palm Oil prices. Rapeseed prices remainunchanged as good supply prospects continued to keep prices atlow levels. Sunflower oil prices rose by 2%.

Extra virgin olive oil prices rose in Spain by 6% and Italy 2% drivenby concern over dry weather affecting the 2014/15 crop.

Wheat - Global wheat prices continued to fall as globalproduction for 2014/15 is forecast at a record level of 719.9million tonnes, up a percent year on year. Milling wheat pricesfell in Paris 10%.

EU Milk production continues to seasonally decline althoughremains up year on year. EU butter prices fell a further 2% andSkimmed Milk Powder and Whole Milk Powder prices continuedto drop 8% while cheddar cheese prices stabilised.

EU shell egg prices increased 3% and processed egg prices in theEU also increased with whole liquid egg up 13%, liquid egg up10% and egg white 4%.

Dairy - EU milk production continues to outperform year on yearbut has now entered the seasonal production deadline. The banon imports of EU food, imposed by Russia is having an impact onButter, Cheese and Milk Powders. EU egg shell prices fell 3% andprocessed egg prices in the EU were varied but stable.

Ingredients - the US almond crop for 2014 is estimated to bedown 15% year on year causing prices to rise this month in theUS and Spain. Hazelnut prices were up significantly by over 20%in Turkey due to low supply.

Potato prices in Europe continued to fall due to ideal weatherconditions during the growing period. The UK was down afurther 3% as the harvest continues throughout the continent.EU onions continued to decline. Desiccated coconut prices fell by3% .

Energy - Prices for Brent crude Oil continued to fall in London by6% due to good supply expectations and reduced demand fromEuropean and Asian refineries. Price of petrol and diesel in the EUfell by 6% in line with crude oil prices.
