Soft Commodities - Prices for Cocoa Beans increased on theInternational Board of Trade but remain unchanged on theLIFFE. In the UK, cocoa butter prices increased 1% reflectingcontinued demand from the chocolate industry, particularly fromthe emerging markets. Cocoa powder prices decreased 7% dueto low demand and increased supply.

Fats and oils - Palm Oil prices fell in Rotterdam as news of highermonthly production in Malaysia eased concerns over the tightstock situation. Sunflower oil prices rose in Ukraine 13%; due toconcerns about the political uncertainty. The Ukraine is the world’slargest producer and exporter of sunflower oil. Rapeseed oil pricesfell in Rotterdam 3% due to favourable weather in the maingrowing regions of the EU.

Wheat - The value of the GDP against the USD has weekend 13%since the New Year which has favoured exports for domestic grainoutside of the EU. February saw the largest volume exported sinceOctober 2011. The latest USDA releases sees global wheatestimates largely unchanged as a result the trade will go back toweather condition changes, fund shorts and Russian taxes.
