Please submit completed form by August 23, 2011 if you are
interested in competing in the Good Times in Goodrich Bake-Off
Contest. Each entry must have its own form, $5.00 entry fee and
be mailed to the address below.
WHEN: Saturday, August 27th—Drop off entries @ 12noon—1pm
WHERE: Downtown Goodrich in the Village Commons Park Area—Bake-Off Tent
COST: $5.00 per entry/category/division. Portion of the proceeds to benefit the Food Bank of
Eastern Michigan
Ribbons will be awarded and one Grand Prize Winner will receive a $50.00 gift
certificate.

Bake-Off Entry Form
Event Information:
Bake-Off entries are accepted on Saturday, August 27th from 12noon to 1pm at Bake-Off tent in Village Commons
Park—Downtown Goodrich—Erie St./Hegel Road. Judging begins at approximately 2pm. At time of submission all
entries must include two copies of full recipe (preferably typed) listing all ingredients with measurements,
instructions and baking times.
All recipes become property of Good Times in Goodrich and may be published. Also, if you have a short biography
and/or history of your recipe please submit this with your entry form by the deadline date of August 23, 2011. All
entry forms must be mailed in and postmarked on or before August 23, 2011. Please do not hand deliver entry
forms as they will not be accepted. No entry forms will be accepted on day of Bake-Off. On day of judging, we will
provide a label for your entry, so please do not mark or identify your entry.
Scoring is based on the following:
Taste
Appearance
Originality
Ease of Preparation
Entries (amount required for judging) as follows:
Pies must be a full-size pie (minimum 8-inch pie)
Cakes must be full-size (minimum size of 8-inch square or round)
Cookies-Bars-Brownies-Muffins-Rolls-Cupcakes must be 1 dozen minimum
Breads must be full-size loaf (minimum 8-inch loaf pan size)
Baking or serving containers may be picked up after judging and awards at approximately 4:00pm at the same location
you dropped off your submissions.
