BACKGROUND NOTES• London Citizens’ is an alliance of community organisations that builds people power and uses this people power to make change happen

• In order for the alliance – yes that’s you - to achieve change...it’s vital we reach a target turnout the (number of people coming) and continue to involve and engage more and more active Citizens

• The following resource can be used by student leaders to gain the signatures of unique and real people they have 1) communicated the assembly to, 2) given them a flier and 3) made sure they’ve seen and read the website. You could then award a small prize. Students that bring their completed sheets to CITIZEN:YOUTH are in with a chance to win a Golden T-Shirt live on-stage at the O2.  You’ll need to ensure there’s no cheating!!

YOUR CHALLENGEThe more people come to the assembly, the more powerful

you are. If you can:

1) Tell 50 people about the assembly 2) Hand them a flier and, 3) Then make sure they’ve visited the website....

You can collect that person’s signature to build your People Power. Each signature MUST be real and unique – it can’t be on anyone else’s checklist.  Gain 50 signatures and you’ll have a chance of winning a Golden Citizens School T-Shirt. Fill in the signatures over the page....good luck!!
