Phone Policies Students are not allowed to make phone calls

home during the day. Period. Cell Phones are not allowed in school unless

written permission is obtained from Ms. Lane. (MCPS Policy)

Independent reading (1 skip night/week)

Absences Excused absences – Student work will be

provided upon return, or placed on the drop off table if requested (shared responsibility)

School-Related Absences Some fifth grade clubs take students out of school

during the school day. Students are expected to pick up missed work on the drop off table and return it the following day (student responsibility)

Some fifth grade clubs take students out of the classroom for a short time during the school day. Students are expected to complete missed assignments in a timely manner (shared responsibility)
