GT

Shared Inquiry- Participants search for answers to fundamental questions raised by a text. The search is inherently student-active, and teachers do not impart information or present their own ideas, but guide students in reaching their own evidence-based interpretations. This approach is a staple for GT oral discourse.

GT

In addition, GT language and writing expectations introduce students to the demands of the high school English GT program. The analysis of rhetoric and the understanding of how writers use argument foster understanding and appreciation of author’s craft and introduces students to the demands of the College Board Language and Composition.
