The hamburger cookout had to be postponed a day, due to election restrictions on the courthouse lawn. Tickets were sold for $5 a sack lunch and all proceeds will benefit the Boys and Girls Club. Lisa Carlton helps Cindy Smith with her sack lunch purchase Wednesday at the Boys and Girls Club cookout. Gem Bell was deemed master chef for the day as he battled the scorching heat with a smile, all in the name of charity.
