This four story, three bay-wide toumhouse is built of brick laid in running bond with stone detail, and was built c. 1870. A flight of stone steps flanked with stone pillow posts and mounted with a wrought iron rail, leads to the entrance vestibule, which is framed on the exterior with flat stone moulding around the doorway and the rectangular transom. To the right, a plate glass shop window sits above a plate glass shop window and door at ground level. All are framed in flat wooden moulding and are spanned by a simple projecting cornice. The second, third, and fourth story windows are identical. They are frameless, but have flat stone sills and flat-arched brick lintels, and are double hung with one-over-one lights. A wide wooden frieze rests below a cornice which is supported on four large brackets. The end brackets extend to the top of the cornice level in semicircular forms.
