These guidelines describe the visual and written elements that represent the corporate identity of Avro GSE. This identity includes our name, logo and other elements, such as color, type and graphics.
Sending a consistent and controlled visual message of who we are is essential to presenting a strong, unified image of our company.
These guidelines reflect Avro GSE s commitment to quality, consistency, and style.
The Avro GSE brand, including the logo, name, colors and identifying elements, are valuable company assets.
Each of us is responsible for protecting the company’s interests by preventing unauthorized or incorrect use of the Avro GSE name and logo.

LOGO INTRODUCTIONOur Logo is the key building block of our identity, the primary visual element that identifies us. The signature is a combination
of the symbol itself and our company name – having a fixed relationship that should never be changed in any way.
THE FULL LOGOTYPE
The Avro GSE Masterbrand or Corporate Logo comprises two elements: the logo symbol and logo type. The Logo Symbol is a powerful image evoking the culture of design services - the connection between the strength of communication and the different points that influence.
The logo has a particular relationship with the Avro GSE name.
The Logo Type has been carefully chosen for its modern, yet refined, highly legible style, which has been further enhanced by the use of upper case letters. The typeface is Montserrat Bold
and has also been chosen to complement and balance perfectly with the logo symbol.
The corporate logo is presented through the use of color, as well as shape and form. The two corporate colors are Blue and Red. It is a fresh and appealing blend of colors chosen for its strong combination - modern - classic - timeless.
The Colors have been selected according to international standards, as shown on pages 15-16, and can be easily referenced and implemented.

4) Single-color Logo - Light Version Use when the non-white background color is of a darker color.
1) The Logo SymbolThe Logo Symbol consists of 2 key elements. The blue arcs suggest lift and flight, and the red trapezoid suggests Avro GSE’s domain on the ground, or runway, and that Avro GSE is always present for ground services and support.
2) The Logo TitleThe font for the name ‘Avro’ is the same as the font used in the Saskarc parent company logo. ‘GSE’ is written in smaller bold letters indicating that the service provided is an anchor to the name, but allowing the company name to be shortened to ‘Avro’.
Attention:Use of any stylized, animated, hand-drawn or other versions of an unofficial logo is not permitted. This undermines the logo system and brand consistency. Please consult with the Avro GSE Marketing Department if you have any questions.
1) The Primary Logo The main logo is in full-color - the Blue and Red logo used on a white background.
When used on a non-white background, use one of the two alternate single-color logo versions.
3) Single-color Logo - Dark Version Use when the non-white color background is of a lighter color.

It is important to keep corporate logos clear of any other graphic elements.
To regulate this, an exclusion zone has been established around the corporate logo. This exclusion zone indicates the closest any
other graphic element or message can be positioned in relation to the logo and our company name.
This fixed relationship - between the logo and other layout elements - should never be changed in any way.

Definition-Whenever you use the logo (in any version), it should be surrounded with clear space to ensure its visibility and impact. No graphic elements of any kind should invade this zone.
Computation-To work out the clear space, take the height of the ‘a’ in ‘avro’ and use this dimension to define the border zone around the logo.

We have selected Montserrat and Source Sans Pro as the primary and secondary corporate typefaces. Via subliminal associations, these fonts help inject a sense of energy and enthusiasm into the entire Avro GSE brand.
