Hazard Warning Holder & Plate Black aluminium holder comes pre-drilled for easy fixing to vehicles. Simply slide in the 300x400mm, 2mm rigid plastic panel, which is

held into place with a stainless steel clip. The panels should be reversed when the vehicle is not carrying any

hazardous goods. A pack of 5 spare plates are available (STA9).

Folding Hazchem Vehicle Plates These plates are constructed from 1mm aluminium and are highly

reflective. The plates can be easily folded over and locked in position when

the vehicle is empty or not carrying hazardous goods. We advise that the smaller (120x300mm) HSTA12 is only used if

there is insufficient space on vehicles under 3.5 tonnes. Can be drilled with a hole to suit your fixing requirements.

Magnetic Hazchem Vehicle Plate Manufactured from highly reflective orange with magnetic backing. Easy to apply on and off the vehicle when required, ideal for hire

Hazchem Vehicle Plates As required under the ADR regulations. These highly reflective orange plates are required to be displayed at the front and rear of each vehicle carrying dangerous goods. Two versions are available to suit your vehicle requirements.

GHS LabelsAn extensive range of labels in compliance with the newGHS regulation for chemical substances and mixtures.

What is GHS?GHS stands for Globally Harmonized System of Classification andLabelling of Chemicals. Worldwide there are many different laws onhow to classify hazardous properties of a chemical. This means thesame chemical in different countries can have a different hazarddescription. A chemical could be labelled toxic in one country but notin another.

The GHS regulation will reclassify the labelling of chemicals (bothsubstances and mixtures) in regard to their hazardous properties. The aim is to create a worldwide recognised system of chemicalclassification and Labelling.

GHS came into effect on 21st January 2009 with the followingimplementation dates: Pure Chemical Substances 1st December 2010. Mixtures of Chemical Substance 1st June 2015.

It is anticipated that GHS will repeal the current CHiP regulation in fullin June 2015. During the transition period both GHS and current CHiPlabels are permitted. GHS will replace the CHiP labelling system weuse currently, meaning that the pictograms on an orange square willbe replaced. They will be replaced by new symbols with a diamondshape and by other phrases. The label designs right will aid assistanceto the GHS regulations.

Class Ref 2 material has at least three times the reflective properties of Class Ref 1, making it an ideal choice

for high risk areas. Traffic signs comply with BSEN12899-1:2001. Choose from wall or post-fix. To Order: Please add /W (Wall-fix) or /P (Post-fix) to the product code.

Posts and FixingsPlastic coated, hollow steel posts and 76mm clips tosecurely mount your Reflective Traffic Safety Signs. Available in three lengths, we recommend the use of a baseplate

and to allow approximately 600mm sink below the ground. Plastic end caps are available for the tops of posts. The screwband fixing and universal channel clamp will allow

fixing to existing posts up to 160mm in diameter. Each sign requires 2 x 76mm clips, or two each of the screwband
