WSA Update

The WSA are pleased to announce that a total of over £7,000 was raised for the school last year through events such as

the Christmas and Summer Fetes, discos, movie nights and bags to school.

The profit from last year (£5000) will be ring fenced and will join ALL profits made this year as we endeavour to save

enough money to replace the wooden ‘castle’ playground structure which has sadly come to the end of its life. This is a

HUGE project as we estimate £25,000 will be needed if we are to replace it with something similar in size.

Unfortunately, no new members came to the AGM last week which means that we have only

4 parent members who are working tirelessly to make all this happen. This is not enough

and we are calling out to all of you to lend a hand and show support for our amazing PTA!

Please get in touch via [email protected] so put yourself forward

for regular or ad-hoc help. Every little extra bit of man-power really does help.

Watch this space for more regular WSA updates and information!

We are collecting!

SCHOOL PHOTOS– RETAKES NEEDED!

Unfortunately, half of the

photos taken last week are

‘over exposed’ and not fit

for sale. The photographers

will be coming back for a

second shoot on

TUESDAY 8TH.

The classes affected are:

Early Years (Tigers), Polar Bears (1) , Penguins (2),

Tree Frogs (4), Pandas (5) and Turtles (6)

Halloween Disco Time!

Wednesday 23rd October

5.15-6.15pm Years 1-3

6.30– 7.30pm Year 4-6

Tickets available ONLINE and

must be purchased in advance!

£4 all inclusive—please do not send additional money!

Please see separate letter for further details

EARLY YEARS are invited to bring in 50p on Wednesday to

purchase a Halloween cookie should they wish. They are

not invited to this disco due to the nature of the event

and their age. However, do not fear! They WILL be invited

to the Christmas and Summer discos!

This week, school staff have suffered several

angry complaints from other

parents and local residents as a

result of YOUR PARKING!

Please park legally and safely.
